    Lana Del Rey is like a poet in the music universe. She is always trying to make something different, with a philosophical and emotional style in her lyrics and dark melodies. This is clearly shown in “Ultraviolence” and now in “Honeymoon”.
    Lana had got into 70’s to make this album, getting elements in music and style to put on it. The record is subtle and emotional deep in all the tracks and the lyrics connects perfectly to the melodies, in a sexy and romantic way. Sometimes it can be somewhat sad, mainly the last songs, because of the slow rhythm, although it is just like “Ultraviolence”: deep in a dark way.
    The singers are always trying to reinvent their music style, but a few of them can do it well like Lana and “Honeymoon” just confirm that she can put new stuff on her music and it is still good, so that’s why she is one of the most important singers in alternative music.

    Lana's best work by far, it reunites all the best things of her previous records, it isn't too artificial like born to die or too light like paradise or too heavy like ultraviolence, is unique, and as a fan, after this record, i'm more excited for what she may bring in the future

    Lana Del Rey's slow, melancholy, atmospheric music is an acquired taste. If her music doesn't work for you, this album isn't going to change your mind. But for fans, it's probably the most coherent and fully-realized album she's put out (though I'm partial to Ultraviolence). Definitely worth listening to.

    A huge step forward from Ultraviolence. This album has so much more substance and is way more interseting and fun than her previous release. Her voice has never sounded better and she is finally grwoing into a sophistocated lady.

    Honeymoon é claramente uma obra-prima, onde letras bem desenvolvidas com ritmos suaves e serenos nos deixam entorpecentes e satisfeitos ao desfrutar de um trabalho com uma qualidade tão grande.

    Tudo se acalma com Religion, e Salvatore é uma valsa docemente imoral. O efeito que as guitarras do Ultra causaram ainda repercutem em mim, mas Honeymoon com certeza é uma das obras mais belas da música contemporânea.

    Honeymoon feels like a bit of everything Lana has done. It has some Born to Die vibes, some Paradise vibes, some Ultraviolence vibes, and even some pre del Rey A.K.A. vibes. The first single High By The Beach is super nice and fun, Born to Die-ish. It's not quite representative for the album though. HBTB feels a bit upbeat, almost urban, while the rest is really slow down.

    Terrence Loves You and the Blackest Day are two of the most outstanding cuts on this album, they're both very emotional and the singing style is slightly different than we're used to from Lana. Other good tracks are Salvatore, with the genius 'soft ice cream' lyric, Art Deco, which feels like a semi diss track with a perfect dull trap hiphop beat, and 24. 24 is literally a lost James Bond soundtrack. Lana has many of them but I personally think this is the most James Bond-ish of them all.

    Weaker moments are the irritating verses on Freak. Freak is such a weird song. It has some really good moments (like the beat and lyrics in the chorus) but some really awful ones too. It's a bit of everything I guess. The forever known (as in, known by title + highly anticipated track by fans) Music To Watch Boys To isn't really what I expected it to be. I was ready for some Off To The Races/ West Coast 2.0 track but it's honestly just a bit boring.

    My least favorite tracks on this record are Religion and Swan Song, they just don't stand out enough. I've been listening to this album for 2 months and I still can't really remember them.

Honeymoon is perhaps her most mature and least autobiographical album yet, drawing inspiration from the jazz greats, film and noir, Trap style beats present of lead single 'High by The Beach", and her trademark love of icons- such as Billie Holiday, Nina Simone, and David Bowie. Honeymoon is cinematic, dark, and often downtempo. One factor of the album that stops it from being awarded a perfect 10 would be that some of the slower songs can feel monotonous to 'outsider' listeners or people who do not typically enjoy this style of music. The inclusion of the track "High by The Beach" , a decent song its own right though not her strongest, seems to have been included on the album as a way of creating a radio playable song for the album as a form of promotion.… Expand

    Honeymoon sees Lana finally being able to relay her vision to the fullest. There is so much to be loved in this record, and I say that Honeymoon is one of the best albums of 2015, up there with To Pimp a Butterfly.

Again, it's impressive how an album with such a slow pulse can keep you so enamored for an hour plus and much of that can be chalked up to the impeccable sequencing.

    For this record, Lana Del Rey went all out with her ambition, bringing her vision to life in a way that only she could. She's making music that only she could make, that possess a unique sound no one else is bringing to the table right now. Many people may have written her off years and years ago, but those of us who have stuck with her because of the potential we saw on tracks like "Video Games" are seeing the pay offs of her growth.     It's her best album, slightly better than Ultraviolence. The production is very good, the melodies and hrr vocal delivery are at the usual high standards with which we got accustomed from Lana.

    She finds the way to handle what the fame brought her, and she deal with it.

    Lyrically, she sounds more and more clear and ideal.
    Musically, she's never out of her own fashion.

    Her best album hitherto! I really love this album compared to her old works. I'm not saying that her old works are not great, in fact, they're all amazing! But something is special about Honeymoon. I just, I can't explain it. Good job, Lana!

    'Honeymoon' doesn't feel like an instant classic as 'Ultraviolence'; however, it's Lana Del Rey at her most. The highlights: 'Honeymoon', 'Terrence Loves You' and 'God Knows I've Tried'. The lowlight: 'Religion'.

    Her best yet. Definitely a step up from Ultraviolence. Lana Del Rey's vocal performance was very strong and I have to say HEAVENLY! I strongly recommend buying this. It is worth it! My favorite songs have to be: Art Deco, Freak, Blackest Day, Salvatore, Swan Song, Music to Watch Boys to, and High by the Beach! Basically all of it!

    Another amazing album. Her lyrics are always so captivating and moving. They have so much depth to them. And her voice is beautifully haunting as always. She is so raw and genuine in her music. My favourite tracks are God Knows I Tried, The Blackest Day, High By the Beach and Music to Watch Boys To. Lana more than deserved a Grammy for Ultraviolence, and now she deserves one for this.     Truly amazing. Simply Lana del Rey. Love all the melodies and the lyrics are so beautiful. I wish she could make music forever. Really don´t understand how there are people who see Lana as a bad influence to the teenagers. Music is this, you can describe love as a fairy tale or how it really is. That´s what Lana do. Love her forever.

    Honeymoon sounds like the perfect match of Born to Die with Ultraviolence. Her deepest and most personal album. She keeps the best of both albums and give us another masterpiece.

    Não sei porque tantas criticas ruins sobre esse álbum, ele realmente não é o melhor álbum da Lana, mas ele é ótimo em vários aspectos, a produção ficou muito boa e as letras ficaram legais porque não falou apenas de macho (hahaha) e o álbum é bom pra ouvir em qualquer hora ou qualquer lugar, mas ficou um pouco chato pois a letra fala muito sobre relacionamentos, e eu sei que deve ter issoNão sei porque tantas criticas ruins sobre esse álbum, ele realmente não é o melhor álbum da Lana, mas ele é ótimo em vários aspectos, a produção ficou muito boa e as letras ficaram legais porque não falou apenas de macho (hahaha) e o álbum é bom pra ouvir em qualquer hora ou qualquer lugar, mas ficou um pouco chato pois a letra fala muito sobre relacionamentos, e eu sei que deve ter isso porque seu álbum chama HONEYMOON (traduzido pelo bing) LUA DE MEL, mas cansei muito disso, mas os vocais disfarça um pouco do ódio que sinto das letras, espero que o próximo álbum seja melhor e assim sempre melhorando.… Expand

    Honeymoon is not Lana's best album. It's nothing like the best one, Ultraviolence but it's good. High By The Beach is one of her worse tracks and the album is quite messy, but tracks like Music To Watch Boys To, The Blackest Day and Freak are amazing. Terrence Loves You is an excellent one as well. She can do better than that but the album is good.

With these reacuring and sometimes annoyingly redundant lyrics about her falling for a bad guy and be a fool for it. But with this new record Honeymoon she still manages to keep those themes alive while smoothly covering them with new ones. Although this may seem condescending but truthful she takes that theme of being a fool and falling for the bad guy and put's quiet a unique spin on it. A very stand-out track is "Religion." Telling us as an audience that this man is her "religion" and she relies on him was new and nice, kinda refreshing. Other reacuring stuff happening that takes a more unique turn is the instrumentation. There is still that movie like feel to it but added with a bit of jazz and some drum machines. Yes, she has had drum machines on her other records but it's (once again) new and refreshing.

    here there are her archetypal pouty lipped slow burners (God Knows I Tried, Religion, The Blackest Day), her codeine and reverb drenched psychedelia (Music to Watch Boys to, Freak, Art Deco) and even showstopping jazz-inspired endeavours (Terrence Loves You, Honeymoon, 24, Don't Let Me Be Misunderstood). all these elements work perfectly together, delivering her most polished and brilliant album to date.

    This is the most dreamy and stylish album I've ever heard. When I hear this I find myself enjoying my stay in a green meadow next to the coast in a pure state of calm while releasing all of my sadness and stress. This album creates a paradise-like experience but It does need repeated listens to fully appreciate it and it's obvious not everyone will enjoy it, which is OK.

    Her best album to date in my opinion. This album put her over to me as my all time favourite artist, a modern day masterpiece. Favourite song for me, and I think many may agree, is Music To Wacth Boys To. The title may sound a little funny, but it is an EXCELLENT song that has not gotten nearly the mainstream attention it deserves.

    This album is so amazing. The whole album is like a long walk at the beach. The intricacies of the production is amazing there are layers upon layers of sounds that with each listen you keep on finding. The small trap influence with an almost classical sound is a perfect blend for an amazingly cohesive and expressive album.

    This album is pretty much perfect and amazing. There is such a contrast within the album structure, from the slow ballads of the first four songs to the trap influenced middle part of the album to the jazz influence of the end of the album. Lana really showed originality and no care towards generating hits just bringing forth a masterpiece.

    The most underrated album of Lana Del Rey. Yet this is one of her most elegant and cohesive sounding albums she has released. Its tracks are all laid back and stripped down while some tracks like Freak, Art Deco, Blackest Day, and High by the Beach got trap beats but it is still soft. Soft yet it goes hard. This album is honestly not my favorite of her but it grew on me.

    Lana took me to the moon for a honeymoon. Probably her best album to date (yes better than the debut).

    The whole atmosphere of the record is out of this world, it feels like i am watching a film noir about a doomed relationship. Her vocals are ethereal. It should have received bigger praise, attention and recognition with awards. Great job Lana!
