No idea why people are hyping this album soo much. Vocals are super flat and sound same-ish from beginning to the end of the song. Background music is overpowering and makes the vocals unintelligible.

All in all I would say it sounds like a budget Alanis Morissette album. Not a fan of her, but at least she has a solid vocal range

While the opening track might end up being one of my favorite pop songs to come out so far this decade, the rest of this album is a mixed bag at best. A mixed bag that takes an absolute nosedive in quality over the last three tracks.

Sigrid has delivered a suite of tracks that explore a theme without becoming tiresome, with slick songwriting and polished production to help the message hit home.

Although Sigrid sings each line as if it’s eye-openingly profound, anyone looking for depth on How to Let Go will quickly find themselves in the shallow end.

The album retains the competent aura of Sigrid’s debut, if not always its punch. Her unrelentingly talented vocal performances on tracks like piano ballad Last To Know strip her back to the artist before the fame, the artist at her piano at home in Norway. But high-octane pop remains the place where she really shines.
