Very Average. Big Sean doesn't make bad music by any means, but he doesn't make anything special or memorable. This album would have been better if you replaced Big Sean with Drake.

Very mediocre, specially for Big Sean's quality, the very slow pace of the song's didn't help hi at all this time, while all the best songs are when the beat is strong, like Bounce Back, No Favours and my personal favourite Voices In My Head/Stick to the plan, it's not atrocious, but i'm sure Big Sean can do better

owe me: 5/10 i don't get the hate
halfway of the balcony: 3/10 the bordem
voices in my head: 2/10 bordem
stick to the plan: 4/10 forgettable but good outro
sunday morning jetpack: 4/10 crap beat
    inspire me: 5/10 forgettable
sacrafices: 6/10 quavo killed the momentum
    bigger than me: 4/10 forgettable

    41.3/100

but i'll give it a light 5 most of the album is just boring or forgettable with more singing or slow rapping than faster style raping what big sean is known for meshing into a meh

worst: voices in my head, halfway of the balcony
best: sacrafices, jump out the window

I'm far from a Big Sean fan, and was yet to like any of his previous projects going into 'I Decided'. As a result I wasn't particularly excited about this project and I don't really think there is much to be excited about on this. As a result I wasn't particularly excited about this project and I don't really think there is much to be excited about on this. Sean's flaws remain that his lazy delivery is painful to listen to, his lyrics are bland and uninteresting and he still has a tendency to drop the most cringe worthy of lines. However, this album is still the best Big Sean album that he has released as of yet, the beats are decent and there are some decent songs such as 'Bounce Back' and 'Sacrifices'. Overall, Sean remains a fairly uninteresting rapper but this album is a mild improvement on his previous work. Expand

I was really expecting and hoping to like this album more than I do. There are some good songs on here but some of the songs just seem overly corny and when you dive into some of the individual lines even more so *cough* Jump Out the WIndow *cough*

Best songs: Light / Bounce Back / No Favors

Sleepy. Uninspired. Boring. It sounds like Big Sean decided to become the most average rapper ever, if I'm honest.

His technique has a strong propensity towards predictable stream-of-consciousness rhyming.

So while tastemakers are spinning his records and partygoers are responding (though it should be noted, that the biggest response, unsurprisingly, came to “Bad and Boujee”), the actual act of getting through Big Sean’s latest album is a tiring one.

While it's undoubtedly a solid addition to Sean's catalogue, at the end of I Decided. it's the flows and instrumentals that are left with the listener, having upstaged what Sean is actually trying to say.
