    With III, Shiny Toy Guns basically prove that marinating in the sounds of the '80s is something they clearly aspire to. It's just that they're more interesting when they reach a little higher and beyond that.

One of the reviewers even compared the album's songs to Katy Perry music. III represents the rebirth of Shiny Toy Guns the real Shiny Toy Guns (not the 2008, "Season of Poison" Shiny Toy Guns). This album contains no filler; every song was crafted with the utmost precision and love. With such melodic, euphoric hooks, backed by flawless production, this is arguably Shiny Toy Gun's best work yet. They have clearly grown and matured since their 2006 debut, "We Are Pilots." It didn't take them 4+ years to complete "III" album for nothing they created an alternative synth-pop masterpiece, oozing raw and unadulterated emotion (just give "E V A Y" a listen if you don't believe me).… Full Review »
