The Queen has returned and she's in perfect form. In Your Dreams proves why Stevie has cast such and enduring spell on the music world and why she is so unforgettable. Her voice and lyricism are bewitching. Her voice has weathered some with age but it is still undeniably beautiful. Let's hope it doesn't take her another decade to release another album.

This is her best album ever. It covers a lot of musical ground; blues, country, rock, folk and pop. The production is top-notch. Mysticism runs through the whole album making this truely a Stevie Nicks album. It's excellent.

This album is a gem. It is a collection that captures Stevie at her most natural in years. Her collaboration with Dave Stewart has produced a very diverse album that shows off Stevie's voice in a wide range of musical styles.

It's amazing that 4 decades into an incredible career Stevie Nicks has released her best solo album ever. There are so many amazing songs on this record that it's difficult to pick a favorite, and there isn't one bad song in the bunch. "Moonlight", "Annabel Lee" and "New Orleans" approach Fleetwood Mac levels of greatness. "For What It's Worth" sounds like a modern "Landslide". "In Your Dreams" and "Everybody Loves You" are very catchy and sound like potential singles, and "Wide Sargasso Sea" and "Ghosts Are Gone" crank up the electric guitars. Nicks hasn't sang so well on an album since 1982's The Wild Heart. This album is a classic. Expand

This is what it's all about people! Real music, something that's very rare now. "In Your Dreams" is one album that's in a class by itself. Thank you Stevie, simply a masterpiece!

Ten years since Stevie's last album, and I'm so happy "In Your Dreams" is here! It's a milestone for Stevie. The album clocks in at 64 minutes. It took me three listens for it to "sink in." My favorites are the 1977 penned "Secret Love", the Dixie-Chicks-esque "For What It's Worth", "New Orleans", "Annabel Lee" (penned by 19th century poet Egdar Allen Poe, and sung like a classic gothTen years since Stevie's last album, and I'm so happy "In Your Dreams" is here! My favorites are the 1977 penned "Secret Love", the Dixie-Chicks-esque "For What It's Worth", "New Orleans", "Annabel Lee" (penned by 19th century poet Egdar Allen Poe, and sung like a classic goth tune, and which is very gothic and intrigueing), "Everybody Loves You", "Italian Summer" (it soars!), and the sentimental closer/duet with Dave Stewart "Cheaper Than Free". The album has some weak songs (thus my score of "7", as can be expected by any Stevie Nicks album since 1989, but even the weak songs have something that holds the interest. "Soldier's Angel" is sung with Lindsey Buckingham, so extra kudos for sentimental value. Expand

Stewart did a great job pushing Stevie's vocals and keeping the music true to her signature style, venturing into the country alt rock arena at times, where Stevie has consistently excelled over her career. There are a few definite Nicks classics here: For What It's Worth, Everybody Loves You, You May Be The One, as well as the very Stevie-esque Moonlight: A Vampires Dream. There are a few definite Nicks classics here: For What It's Worth, Everybody Loves You, You May Be The One, as well as the very Stevie-esque Moonlight: A Vampires Dream. When Lindsay Buckingham shows up to add his guitar and back up vocals to Soldiers Angel, the results make you anticipate the next Fleetwood Mac album with to his haunting, stark guitar arrangement that let's Stevie's voice shine, flaws and all, over tough subject matter dealing with veterans of the Iraq War. All that said, the only problem is Stevie can get a bit self indulgent with some cringe worthy lyrics; such as on New Orleans, Italian Summer and Cheaper Than Free. These three could have easily been cut, which would have given this a 9 rating, however, don't let that stop you from purchasing this fine album. It's a solid, confident, inspiring piece of work that will more than satisfy long time fans and more than confirm her place as a relevant, current artist. Expand

The production doesn't always give Nicks's gothic imagery enough waft, but fans will love puzzling over which of her paramours she's recalling on Secret Love.

Those fiercely loyal fans will be very pleased with In Your Dreams, a pit stop in her canon of rock folklore.
  3. The caprine warble of solo Steve Nicks has broken its silence after 10 years to explore the idea that nothing lasts forever, especially in affairs of the heart.
