Omar and Cedric didn't forget how to make post-hardcore. And I think you don't need more recommendation. It's fresh, it's crazy, it's psychedelic, and it's packed with incredible amounts of energy. If you liked their old records, you will love this album!

I don't think you're going to get anything constructive from the critics (Critics have never been overly warm to AtDI anyway) just bashing this record. I'd go in with an open mind and give it a shot. This album ended up impressing me track-for-track. Cedric and Omar are exceptional.

Extremely surprised to see the aggregate score of 74. I was really REALLY impressed with it. Everyone sees art differently so no need to bother trying to tell you why it surprised me far more than I expected. I do not want to limit things to being post-hardcore or alternaspazhigh-pitch. If you enjoy aggressive music with guitars, give this a shot regardless of what you may have thoughtExtremely surprised to see the aggregate score of 74. I was really REALLY impressed with it. I definitely miss the vocals of former guitarist/singer and Sparta frontman Jim Ward. Expand

Although the overall sound blended together a bit too much and emphasized virtuosity over style, the engaging countermelodies and harmonic rhythm makes this a worthwhile listen for hardcore fans. My Score: 125/180 (Good) = 6.9/10

If you think this is one of those lame "comeback" albums, do yourself a favor and have a listen. They deserve more than a lukewarm rating for their courage to go all in and pack so much energy in this album.

In•ter a•li•a is a blistering return for the band; a record of thrilling paranoia, agitated by brutal, scissoring guitar riffs and slashing vocals.

They don’t stretch their formula, but there’s little need when their galvanic velocity is this purposeful.

What makes that record sound so left-field is Cedric’s all over the place vocals and Ross Robinson’s infamously loud production.
