Apr 26, 2023The album is so good. Her voice is amazing and so is the rest of the band. My favorites from the album have to be You, Nothing left to lose and Just tonight.

Jun 20, 2014Um ótimo album,ótimas canções,ótima cantora,e só senti um pouco de falta do outro vocalista.
Seria ótima se continuassem fazendo bons albuns como Light Me Up. -
Jan 2, 2014Light Me Up is a great album. But unfortunately it's not the perfect album. Maybe it's a little bit too short.
There are great songs, especially Miss Nothing and Just Tonight, and, in my opinion, we can consider the Pretty Reckless the rock band of the future, and hope they'll grow in the same direction they took with this first album. -
Mar 11, 2012This album is so amazing. One of the only hopes for future rock music! Taylor Momsen's voice is truly phenomenal and the lyrics are quiet amazing and emotional. I can't wait to hear more from this band!

Aug 14, 2011Even though Taylor has a bad reputation for saying bad words, smoking, uber-revealing clothes, her album is just a jewel. In this pop era, having a metal+rock mixed band is very different and refreshing. Every song is loved and sung, plus some classic hits could be on the way. If she improves herself she can have a perfect career in front of her.

May 24, 2011Taylor Momsen proves there is something to be celebrated but through too many serious songs by a sixteen year old and her over sexualized image it seems she is trying to grow up too quickly, overshadowing her very obvious talent.
-
Apr 26, 2011It's terrific fun: salacious, convincingly muscular, unnervingly rowdy.
-
Kerrang!Apr 12, 2011While lyrically there's nothing explicitly offensive, there are enough risque lines here to raise a few eyebrows, and enough good songs to prick a few ears. [28 Aug 2010, p.54]

Apr 11, 2011If the band had explored their bluesy leanings more, Light Me Up could have been a small-scale revolution, but even as it stands now, it's still a wicked good record.
