I loved 1989, but going into the pop sound she went with the 2014 album, I believe she sacrificed lyrics a bit, whereas in lover I think she paid closer attention to them. However, in my opinion, the album is too long, I believe with 15 songs the message would have equally come across, but I can spot just a few filler moments on here, "It's Nice to Have a Friend" and "London Boy" would be my least favourite tracks. However, in lover, Swift delivered some of her best material. When Taylor and Jack Antonoff team up they create pop magic, like in Cruel summer, a perfectly crafted 80's synthpop bop, or The Archer, with a really nice dreamy vibe and minimal incredible production.     Taylor Swift spreads her wings in this new piece. The production is superb, the lyrical content is excellent. She tackles subject such as sexism, heartbreak, love, and fear of losing a lover. I rate it a 10 because every track is great. There are no fillers and the sounds are diverse. No one track sounds the same.

    Amazing. Lyrically, this is Swift at some of her finest. She sounds fully matured here, but loses none of what made her youthful tunes so entrancing and relatable. It's a pop masterpiece.

    With a bubblegum lead single, she was saving her finest sonically cohesive and lyrically masterpiece synth-pop songs alongside with the traces of country music. This is an another dimension of pop music that will surely be remembered for ages.     That's her 7th album and she's still able to come with something new, something fresh and the most important- something that we all can relate to. Everybody feels love. You can love your pet, you can love your parents, you can love your bf/gf. This album definitely shows other sides of love, the joyful one, the painful one, the hopeless one, the slowly fading one.
