    This is just a perfect album, and that is honestly no exaggeration. On Lover, Swift seems to have fully found her strengths as a songwriter and artist. With all the glitzy 80s pop perfection if 2014’s “1989” merged with the deep, meaningful singer-songwriter lyricism of 2012’s “RED”, “Lover” is the perfect pop album in 2019. She’s leaps and bounds ahead of her nearest competition. Ms.This is just a perfect album, and that is honestly no exaggeration. On Lover, Swift seems to have fully found her strengths as a songwriter and artist.     Topped off with filler indeed, but the good outweighs the bad quite nicely. And even the worser songs have an affable sense of genuine exclusivity. Yet the number of "banger" radio ready hits closely rivals Red, and suchly represents the album as a whole.

It is cohesive in all its shapes, sounds and vocals (THE CHORUS!!). You probably won’t like it the first time you listen to it but please do it more than once. She was never famous for having a powerful voice, but her low notes are the best thing you could possibly hear in a song. The way she writes (words and sounds) and tells you a story is unique. She’s the best at creating a concept for an album. The title “Lover” is perfect. She describes love in every possible way: love for you true love, love for a past relationship, love for your mother and family, love for your friend, love for you country and love for yourself. In conclusion I would like to add that she wrote the best song of her entire career: Daylight. Please listen to it all. This is THE ALBUM OF THE YEAR. Thanks Taylor for being always in our minds and hearts. Love from Italy.

    When Me!, YNTCD came out I have very low expectations for the album. When the archer was released I was like ew... it's was lyrically better but I am still disappointed. But the rest of the album starting from Lover just blew my mind. I loved it so freaking much. It's one of my favorite albums ever.

    Lover is ultimately a 1989 with the lyricism of Speak Now and the emotional complexity of RED. The lyrics are so incredible that you will listen to them again and again. My favorite tracks on this album are Cruel Summer, Miss Americana and The Heartbreak Prince, Paper Rings, Cornelia Street, Lover, Soon You Will Get Better, and The Archer. The album could have been a bit shorter but ILover is ultimately a 1989 with the lyricism of Speak Now and the emotional complexity of RED. The lyrics are so incredible that you will listen to them again and again. My favorite tracks on this album are Cruel Summer, Miss Americana and The Heartbreak Prince, Paper Rings, Cornelia Street, Lover, Soon You Will Get Better, and The Archer. The album consists of exceptional production and songwriting while Swift has never sounded better vocally.
    The album is heavily based around synth-pop and has aspects of pop rock, country, electro-pop and bubblegum pop. The album does not have one single sound making it less cohesive than previous albums e.g. 1989, Fearless. Nonetheless, it exceeds all expectations. The album has the opening track, 'I Forgot You Existed' using minimal beats throughout the song to the synth heavy track 'I Think He Knows' to the slow country track 'Soon You'll Get Better' to then the bubblegum pop track 'ME!'. The production of this album (all co produced by Swift herself) is much lighter than its predecessor, Reputation, although it does contain some delicate electropop in songs such as 'Cruel Summer' 'Miss Americana...'. The production overall is diverse and tremendous as some tracks make you want to dance, some make you sentimental & affectionate and other make you cry. The songwriting is classic T Swift. Her ability to tell a story in a song is really something special. Her way of words is truly unmatched. Swift ensures the listener imagines everything she sings and makes them feel what she feels. She dives into the different and complex aspects of being in love throughout the album - the happiness (Cruel Summer, Lover, Paper Rings, London Boy), the loss (Death By A Thousand Cuts), the arguments (False God) and the reconciliation (Afterglow). The album also touches on several other subjects - feminism/misogyny (The Man), fear of losing a loved one (Soon You'll Get Better), the right to love whoever you want (YNTCD) and loving yourself (ME!). This is why Swift calling the album 'Lover' was perfect as it truly is an album that is a love letter to love itself. Swifts vocals are immaculate and truly shine on this album. Background vocals alone on the track 'Daylight' sound magical and enchanting while her scream during the bridge of 'Cruel Summer' gives an excitement and buzz too hard to explain. She sounds extremely sensual on 'False God' and very 80s rock chick on 'Paper Rings'. Overall, the album is her most mature to date and she continues to cement herself as a pop icon with only 3 pop albums. I believe the album exceeded all expectations and is one of her best.     I love old Taylor and New Taylor and in this album we get a mix of both. I can't wait to see this album in concert. That typically where the more low-key songs on the album start to shine. Also, if "All Too Well" is her best song ever, then the song "Lover" is her #2 best of all time.

    This album is beyond great. Each track brings something completely different to the table. I find myself saying "no this is my favorite" with each track change. Taylor’s lyricism may never have been better and that’s saying something. I can’t say enough good things about this album or the extraordinary talent of the artist. Albums should be an experience and this one is just that.

    Great album. Speak Now 2.0 lyrically but more mature, 1989 2.0 with production. Amazing. So many bops, and lyrics for days. Bridges to die for.

    Lover é uma mistura de todos os álbuns já lançados da Taylor e o melhor na minha opinião. Todas as músicas falam de algo q Taylor passou e não só de ex namorados. Nesse álbum Taylor celebra o amor em todas as suas formas.

    Swift once again has proven her talent as a songwriter and musician. The tracks have cohesion and reveal a Taylor is probably living her best moment at now. It talks about love and all the others feelings that come with it.

    Perfect lyrics. This is, by far, the most romantic album of Taylor. Its true I miss all heartbreaking balads but, tbh, a happy Taylor makes me happy too.

    No skips in my opinion. Taylor’s best pop album. Sonically impressive, lyrically groundbreaking, the production is at its finest.
