    honestly, this is **** i'm not coming from a xenofobic place, i just couldn't enjoy it at all. bad lyrics, too much autotune, i don't get how the critics could give this 100. i started listening this with an open mind, really trying to find something good to get out of this, but i really wasn't able to. bts fans brag about they paving the way that was actually paved by korean acts such ashonestly, this is **** i'm not coming from a xenofobic place, i just couldn't enjoy it at all. bad lyrics, too much autotune, i don't get how the critics could give this 100. i started listening this with an open mind, really trying to find something good to get out of this, but i really wasn't able to. bts fans brag about they paving the way that was actually paved by korean acts such as psy that had some originality and something new to bring to the table. this sounds very much like any rookie kpop group album that i could search for randomly on youtube. **** **** ****… Expand

    I'm really sorry to BTS and ARMY! I'm new to Kpop in general, but I have liked some of BTS' songs. I even bought and actually liked Map of the Soul: Persona. I was hyped for this album a lot.

    I was expecting too much or something. This was really disappointing. I'll admit I listened to this album in 3 broken up pieces, so this may have been a reason for disappointment. I think the    I'm really sorry to BTS and ARMY! I'm new to Kpop in general, but I have liked some of BTS' songs. I even bought and actually liked Map of the Soul: Persona. I was hyped for this album a lot.

    I was expecting too much or something. This was really disappointing. I'll admit I listened to this album in 3 broken up pieces, so this may have been a reason for disappointment.

    I think the reasons I don't like the album come from two major things. Firstly, the track listing makes this hell for me. I feel the album jumps from one general feeling to another. One song will be intense, while the next one right after that will be more calm (i.e. Black Swan to Filter). Had songs been switched around so that intense songs are paired and gradually calm down to a more gentle feeling, it would have benefitted significantly.

    Secondly, I personally think most of the songs on this album are really forgettable. Perhaps the track listing made it much worse. Even a day after listening to the album, I couldn't recall very many of the songs at all, which muddled this shadow feeling of the album that BTS uses so predominantly.

    Highlights of the new songs on the album for me include "Ugh!", "ON", "Black Swan", and "Interlude: Shadow". The rest of the songs, especially after a couple weeks after listening to the album, I cannot recall at all. I'm really sorry. I'll try to listen to the album again soon. I wish I could adore this album as much as most people do. Perhaps a second impression will turn it around! I hope so!    … Expand

    An amazing album in celebration to 7 years of their career. Talent is everywhere in this album where they really wrote and composed 95% of it, they're not a market group like kpop, they're actual artists

    Lot of people want to act like this album is as good as those great album come from last year (like NFR! or MAGDALENE), but no. I think it's not bad, but there still some tracks makes me feel boring and awkward. Album is not very impressive me but it enough to make me want to heard their next project.

    it's a let down for me. the album is full of auto tune which does not sound good... the singles sound like something a bad western rapper/trap artist would release... idk this whole map of the soul series is a huge disappointment especially after love yourself series. i only like 2 or 3 songs..

    Tryhard. There was a lack of spark with the songs and I am not going to read the lyrics to understand their artistry which I think doesn't exist in Kpop. Kpop is all about addictive songs and music videos and think this album is lacking in both.

BTS forsakes artistically integrity for meaningless hit songs.     This album is so overrated. The album lacked the natural fluidity of their most known hit, as, for example, the newest song "Dynamite". Few song are quite catchy , indeed the majority of them are not.

Trataré de no ser tan severo, pero apenas y existe un par de razones por las cuales escuchar esta casi hora y media de música invisible, intrascendente y tan reciclada que de repente es desagradable que probablemente no valgan la pena.

What around 25 producers achieve with this album was simply recycle and exponentiate a history of Pop that it's actually so popular that it seems a brothel.     There aren't musicians like BTS in the industry. The way they put their love and their truth through good vibing amazing songs is just amazing. This album is so deep and also so enjoyable. I am proud and happy to be an ARMY.

    Esse álbum está simplesmente incrível. Estou apaixonada por todas as musicas. Todas elas conseguem, de alguma forma, tocar a minha alma. Cada música transborda sentimentos sinceros.     este é um dos álbuns mais incríveis que ouvi e de toda a carreira dos meninos, a trajetória que os levou até mots7 é linda, mesmo triste em alguns momentos mas é única, e deles. e eu só sei sentir orgulho de poder ouvir (e ver) mais uma criação linda e tão significativa vindo destes sete meninos que ainda tem MUITO a mostrar ao mundo. stream em mots7!

    I really love bts's new album, sounds amazing and even better than their previous albums, the way UGH! slaps yall im sick of it and FRIENDS ???? PLS CAN I K WORD MYSELF ALREADY THATS SO CUTE VMIN SOULMATES VMIN SOULMATES!!! AND LOUDER THAN BOMBS THAT SONG IS A *chef's kiss* AMAYZINGGG so far this is my favorite album yet :)

    Even if ON is the title song, Black Swan is the most amazing one I have ever heard, the orchestra version is out of this world. There are some good surprised here, like Moon and We are Bulletproof.

    Literalmente incrível. BTS sempre consegue inovar e criar músicas incríveis. O talento deles é surreal, coisa que é difícil ver em hoje em dia, artistas que realmente valorizam a música e querem fazer música porquê a amam.

    The album is so diverse with each member displaying their unique side and their own qualities. The album in itself has a good balance of virtually everything. I don’t want to spoil it but this album is truly an amazing one.

    Amazing album as always. We truly see how BTS has grown as an artist and the personal yet hopeful lyrics give the listener an insight to their lives which as always leaves the most beautiful impressions in our minds. They've once again moved me, made me smile, cry and lose all of my wigs at the same time.

    The whole album is reflection on their past-selves. The lyrics are so well written. Ugh! is such a hard-hitting song. 'Louder than bombs' is one of my favorite track. 'Black Swan' can resonate any artist's heart. 'ON' give you an inspiration to fight. 'We are Bulletproof: Eternal' gives reassurance that they are alone but together in the journey.

    Persona lacked the natural fluidity and chicness of their best music. Those problems aren’t exactly mitigated here, since most of those songs appear on this album too, but within this new context, they feel like a flashback before the saga continues. Many of the new songs are better about balancing Easter eggs for day-ones with new entry points for more casual listeners.
