Jun 1, 2023One of the better albums to come out in the 2020s.

Apr 16, 2023very trippy album, I listen to it mostly to fall asleep, or think, or take walks while feeling like i'm stuck in outer space. i love the heavy sounds and weird atmosphere of the whole album, not all songs hit the same way emotionnally though, but i still appreciate the musical experiments she goes through overall !

May 7, 2021this album was the album that got me into grimes (i know i was late, but at least i know of her talent now) but WOW this album is amazing and so cohesive with no skips. IDORU is one of her best songs.

Mar 25, 2021I love how each of these tracks make me feel. The music lifts my mood everyday on my drive to work. It transports me. Grimes' high notes are beautiful and the beats are sick. The messages behind this project make me happy as a conservationist. Claire has so much talent it pours out in this work. A year after its release and I am still listening, so this album sustains for me.

Dec 29, 2020It's Grimes best album yet. It has everything for everyone, the production level is 'grimes' just like the complexity of most songs holding tightly to the 'experimental' title.

Dec 23, 2020No hay forma de describir lo mucho que me hizo sentir este disco, fue un sube y baja de emociones.

Jul 17, 2020Words that describe what Miss Anthropocene is; Dark, distopic, sci-fi, cyberpunk, fantasy, ethereal, magic, MASTERPIECE.

Jul 3, 2020Highly melodic and adventurous. This is music when music is fun and intelligent.
-
Jun 25, 2020I am not very familiar with grimes music, so it is quite exotic for me, it fulfills its objective of taking me on a journey through another universe, even though I was not completely convinced in many of its songs i did not manage to connect with the beginning of her songs to finish meeting her in the middle.

Apr 19, 2020This album is definitely a weird one. But it will grow on you more and more with each listen. There are a few duds on this album, but its made up by the inclusion of some really great songs.
-
Apr 19, 2020The work grimes has done is ahead of its time, it’s so experimental and shes one of few artists I know who are willing to risk it all to be true to herself and express what is in her mind. I love the theme and it’s message, I would recommend my all friends to meet Miss Anthropocene :)

Mar 30, 2020É bizarramente perfeito. As músicas são ótimas, o conceito, o instrumental e as letras conversam perfeitamente. Até agora esse é o melhor álbum do ano.

too good too special holy f grimes you nailed it -
Mar 14, 2020Feels new and well worn at the same time. Easy to fall into the album, enjoyable to listen through on repeat. Hear vibes of some of my other favorite artists. Will wake up almost humming some of these songs, and then proceed to do so.

Mar 12, 2020Dark and atmospheric soundscapes with songs about global warming, Grimes best work yet
Awards & Rankings
-
Apr 16, 2020For an artist whose past two albums were as impeccably curated as they were produced, the non-cohesiveness of Miss Anthropocene is bit of a disappointment, in spite of the record’s highlights.
-
Mar 16, 2020Ultimately an excellent record. Where the message is muddied, thankfully the music is often, simply put, beautiful.
-
Q MagazineMar 10, 2020Miss Anthropocene is not quite as brilliantly weird as its predecessor, but is certainly compelling enough to maintain Grimes' status as one of the most fascinating pop stars on the planet. [May 2020, p.105]
