    This is some of the most addictive pop music I've heard all year. It lyrically sharp, sonically exciting and above all, it's rejuvenating to hear an artist take these creative risks in a world full of the same old recycled sounds.

    Her best.
    The melodies, the collaborations and her VISION for it all!
    This is her best work, it's thanks to this mixtape that her new works are getting so much praise.
    It's really sad that it is becoming even underrated at this point..

    What I like the most about this album is that Charli did whatever she wanted. It's one of the few albums in which I do love all the songs. My favorites songs of the album are White Roses, Dreamer and 3AM.

    Love! Love! LOVE! Just amazing, wig snatched and I'm broke so I can't buy a new one. Thanks Charli. BUT SRSLY THO! This project is such a good one! Lipgloss and 3AM are the best songs, periodt.

    Her first official mix tape I will say it did take me awhile to get into it, but once I did I couldn't stop listening to it. It is such a fun and 2017 fitting mix tape that I really think brought out a side of Charli that I feel like wasn't as prominent as before.     Between this and the Vroom Vroom EP from last year, I'd be cool with PC Music and Charli being some of only a handful of people making pop music for the next 10 years. Miles better than practically anything you will hear on the radio or charts right now. This is where pop is heading in the future.

    More of the same I have to say. It has some catchy songs and that's cool, but after Vroom Vroom I was expecting something better. Also, collab with Cupcakke? Are you serious? Fav: 3AM (Pull Up).

While this may be her weakest collection to date, this is still very much rooted deep in the identity that Charli XCX has cultivated for herself. This is her take on R&B, taking all the hybrid trap tropes madeWith the return of denim on denim trends, light-up shoes and furry accessories, it is no surprise that 90’s style pop music has also made a comeback of its own in the late 2010s. While this may be her weakest collection to date, this is still very much rooted deep in the identity that Charli XCX has cultivated for herself. This is her take on R&B, taking all the hybrid trap tropes made popular and re-appropriating them for her pop purposes.

    The mixtape includes 10 songs which highlight her adventuresome spirit with vocality and sound. Number 1 Angel is reminiscent of artists like Kylie Minogue and Gwen Stefani with its strong feminine qualities, in addition to the heavy backbeat inclusion on each track. Let's start with the promising moments! The mixtape begins pretty well with Dreamer, the nice intro giving the album a dramatic start. It's followed by some pretty standard pop vibes that doesn't really reach an interesting level, but still serve as an okay pop song. 3AM (Pull Up) and Blame It On U are pretty much the same, not really reaching a high point but still maintaining a general standardness. Then, the album takes direction to a more dance-electronic approach with Roll With Me and ILY2, but unfortunately the rest of the mixtape doesn’t offer much and doesn’t have a replay value... besides Lipgloss where she hands the verses to CupcaKke and proves that pop/hip-hop crossovers don’t always have to be so cut and dried.

    Pop music today is all about one of two things: emotionally sparse or anthemically big. That's the recipe for an album - if at least one song on a record can meet those requirements and do it well, you've put out a good album. Unfortunately, despite the mixtape featuring plenty of tracks and experimenting different sounds, Charli XCX failed to reach the right level with Number 1 Angel. Maybe next time, Charli.

    meh... It has some good songs but after Pop 2 ( I first listened to the Pop 2 album) I was expecting something better. Roll With Me and Lipgloss are my favorites.

    Number 1 Angel is best at its most vulnerable. ... The other novelty of Number 1 Angel and Charli’s past work is that it showcases, and is largely stolen by, a lot of guests.
