    I've discovered Kevin Whelan through this band and album... Really loved it. I want to know his previous band now !!

    It's a shame Whelan couldn't have released his solo record without pulling the plug the long promised Wrens release.     the songs vary by song. The first track of the album is dull, but much later
    it really picks up. Also, vocals are at it's finest for the album

    While it has it's flaws, Observatory is a great album to listen to. I would
    recommend it to all modern rock fans.
