    Love the airiness of the album but the tracks don't stand out apart. Both the vocals and the production are sort of moody but also light and easy at the same time so it's still a pleasant listen

    With its sweet, dream-pop sound, Offering is an immediately likable record that is enjoyable on first listen. Repeated plays make it more lovable as the subtle, ultra-cool textures creep into your consciousness and make for dynamic and vibrant tunes with honeyed vocals. I think I've found my new guilty pleasure.

    Draped in synths and bouncy, Top 40 bass lines, Offering turns out to be a lacklustre effort from a group once smothered in critical praise and year-end listings.

    Offering finds the band retooling its sound, and a few songs meander. But at its best--on the vibrant. assertive title track, on the buzzy, fizzy "Recovery," on the swaying, bittersweet "Good Religion"--it rivals Cults' revivalist previous offerings. [No. 147, p.51]
