Appreciable to listen to, it appears, however, an obsequious search for the old hits that have climbed the international music charts thanks to Tedder's writing ability. Best track "Let's Hurt Tonight."

This album wasn't going to be for everyone; as OneRepublic's most experimental and progressive venture yet, it was bound to turn some fans away. However, after subsequent listens I discovered just how fun and emotionally rich this album was, ranging from loss (Choke) to togetherness (Let's Hurt Tonight) to hope (Future Looks Good) to belonging (Born) and so much more. I learned that OneRepublic wasn't special to me because they adhered to a specific genre; their passionate melodies and their emotionally-resonant lyrics defined them, and Oh My My hits the nail on the head in that regard. This is an easy 10/10 for me. Expand

After OneRepublic’s amazing Native, it was gonna be hard to make anything that was even comparable to it. Native had received positive critical reception, and was known as their best album amongst many fans. Oh My My was released 3 years later, and wow it is almost just as good. This album has 16 songs long, and not once does it feel long. This album has 16 songs long, and not once does it feel long. Let’s Hurt tonight is an explosive opener. Future Looks Good is one of the best and most meaningful songs OneRepublic has ever released. Oh My My is a simple head bopper, and Kids is a catchy, unforgettable, coming of age song. Dream and A.I is so unique and funky, and Better is so weird and out there, yet still remains a really good song. Born, and Lift Me Up are great awe inspiring and uplifting tracks, while Choke is a dramatic and sad song. Human is deep and powerful song. NBHD and Wherever I Go are meaningful and extremely catchy, and Heaven is one of the bands best closing tracks. This album is much different to the rest of their discography, with new sounds and new themes. But that’s what I love about it so much. It’s so different but it’s able to maintain the feeling that you’re listening to a OneRepublic album. Whether this type of music fits your style, you have to admit, behind the layers of the booming choruses, these songs are about something more compelling. Humans. That is what this album really boils down too. While this album has some of the bands most melodic songs, almost all of them are about the ups and downs of life, and the things that people have to deal with. This it is truly irresistible, especially when it is done right as on this record. Oh My My has to be the most human album I’ve ever heard. I had this album on repeat for 2016 and 2017, and I still listen to it 3 years after it’s release. OneRepublic next album will have to be really great to stand it’s own to this, but I can’t express how excited I am for whatever their next effort is. Collapse

I really don't care for most pop music; most of it is too generic and shallow in terms of lyrics. OMM has varied music and lyrics, which alone make it stand out among most pop records. It's main problem is it usually get worse, not better, with repeat listens. The music and lyrics don't have enough depth to stand the test of time, or, in this case, a few dozens listens. Still, there is lots to like.

Most of the music on this album actually sounds pretty good, especially on the songs "Tonight," "Kids," "Choke," "Born," "Human," "Fingertips," and the final song. OMM has a solid amount of good, enjoyable, or even profound music. "Human" really stands out thanks to it's hard-hitting lyrics and theme, especially at the chorus. "Better" also features lyrics that are better (pun intended) than most pop lyrics. "Choke" and "Kids" are awesome songs, with both having great, powerful music. Very little of OMM is downright terrible; the only song I really dislike is "Wherever," which has lame, unoriginal pop lyrics.

OMM is (mostly) more original, interesting, and higher-quality than most pop albums. Check it out if you want some better, more varied pop music and lyrics.

Afinal, por que "Oh My My"?

For sure their best record, it brings so many different sounds, but has a lot of OneRepublic essence, that we see in their previous albums. For me, Oh My My is the best album of 2016.

This album is very good, because, Ryan explains great details into all of One Republic's 4 albums. I believe One Republic will become not just a band but a comfortable band that will make us feel a good life !!!

This album is very scattershot and in desperate need of an editor (and a lawyer, probably, because Better is a blatant twenty one pilots ripoff). A fresh proposal, songs with beautiful lyrics, the voice of Ryan Tedder spectacular, but has moments in which you seem to be hearing the same, in some cases it is like going back to Native however deserves to be heard more than once to reach to taste.

Of course the best album they've ever done. It brings some modern and catchy songs like A.I., Oh My My, NbHD, and some others, but has a lot of the OneRepublic essence that we´ve seen in their previous albums, like Let's Hurt Tonight, Choke, Colors, All These Things, The Less I Know. I personally liked every song of this record, especially Better, that reminded me a lot of Twenty One Pilots.

This album needed a second listen. I think this album might be their best to date. There is a huge diversity in songs, I haven't heard a OneRepublic album with this much diversity and I like it a lot. The album may indeed be messy and filled with different sounds. However, the individual songs have great melodies, slick production and Ryan's songwriting and singing is some of his best.

The album rocks and in my opinion is a little bit better (and fun) from Native. I Love It!!!

A great album with diversity. One republic did it again ! There might not be much trendy songs, but they are still sensational ( such as ' A.I.', 'Heaven','Human' ). They're some how following Coldplay's step

Its a real disappointment to be honest. I have no idea what they were going for. The album seems to have no cohesive sound/direction, and the songs as stand alone singles really aren't that good. A real step down after Waking Up & Native.

A confusão de ideias e a longa duração desaponta até mesmo quem não gosta de criar expectativas sobre álbuns, mesmo assim, os dois primeiros singles Wherever I Go e Kids são os dois pontos altos da obra.

The biggest problem with Oh My My is that OneRepublic forsakes the few characteristics that once made them relatively unique in favor of bland, done-to-death radio pop.
