An average album at best, the only main saving point being Dave Navarro, who has worked with ayone and everyone from The Red Hot Chili Peppers to Guns N' Roses. A nice attempt at an album, but only worth a listen when you're in the mood

Personally I love the record, maybe not every single song, but 85% of them which is good for any record. I feel like people expected this to be a Jane's Record which the whole time the band warned that it wasn't. I'm curious what people expect musicians to do when bands break up... never play again? 1. For those listeners who pine for a world when Seven Mary Three received heavy rotation, this will satisfy, but anybody expecting the spark of Jane's Addiction or even a dose of Navarro's campy on-camera charm will be sorely disappointed.

The result: a CD without hooks, impressive guitar pyrotechnics, or anything else, really. [Sep 2006, p.226]
  3. It's hard to believe these men were once innovators.
