    A little paunchiness suits the skanking bounce and wobble of their songs and a good time brassiness dominates even on the more meditative tracks.

    Though less ambitious than 2009's The Liberty of Norton Folgate, Madness's Oui Oui Si Si Ja Ja Da Da confirms the benefits of spreading songwriting chores among the entire band.

This album features a definite return of 'Nutty' to the Madness sound, who have once again welcomed 60's influences with 'My Girl 2's Organ driven mod beat, and 'Misery's Bluebeat trumpet driving ska feel. The album brims with wisdom and maturity in lyric, although the musicianship and production has something of a childlike quality. Full Review »
