"Anit not moment like when I'm holding...ontoyou" Lol. Sadly is the best country album of 2014 so far, but it is not a very good--as a whole. "Holding on to you" is the best country love song since little big town's Sober and the best song on the album. The biggest problem with the album is Lambert is not a very good song writer. The production was inconsistence to say the least. Solid"Anit not moment like when I'm holding...ontoyou" Lol. Sadly is the best country album of 2014 so far, but it is not a very good--as a whole. The production was inconsistence to say the least. Solid effect from the most influential woman in country. I am forever thankful to Lambert for putting me on to Ashley Monroe and Kacey Musgrave.

Many of the songs on the album is alienating to men. Many songs lack the universality of human emotions. Brady Clark wrote many songs on 12 stories from a women's perceptive but the emotions behind the songs are relatable to anybody. Lambert fails to do that on many occasions. The best songs beside the one that mention are "Old Sh!t," "Babies making Babies," and "Smoking and Drinking." But, even those songs could have been excited better. In sum, best album so far this year in country music, but that is not a complement.

Platinum, her fifth solo album, finds Lambert swaggering righteously like the Partonesque country superstar she is.

Although the title is also an album track referring to hair color, the depth of this project goes further than Miranda’s roots.

Lambert’s new record is a challenging statement from one of the very few female singers that has a stage to be widely heard. That her statement manages to weave together nuanced humor and sarcastic wit with huge pop hooks only makes it that much more impressive.
