    I just felt like when doing the album, they just wanted the fans not to complain there wasn’t a release in 2020, I know that thank u next was very difficult to reach, but not that hard.
    Very forgettable, hope Ari releases a better album next time, not something this mainstream…    … Expand

    I really like the new style Ariana's trying to get into, and she nailed it! You can feel the R&B vibe through all the tracks of the album. I really enjoyed it, the album that I like the most by Ariana Grande. I like the strings that are present in every song and the happy and kind of sensual lyrics, expressing her love for (my opinion) her husband. The album cover is great, the musicI really like the new style Ariana's trying to get into, and she nailed it! You can feel the R&B vibe through all the tracks of the album. I really enjoyed it, the album that I like the most by Ariana Grande. I like the strings that are present in every song and the happy and kind of sensual lyrics, expressing her love for (my opinion) her husband. The album cover is great, the music videos are stunning. Definitely a great album, but unfortunately some people don't appreciate it. Not being an album as a sweetener, for this reason it should be seen with different eyes. However, "my hair" track it's amazing (the ending it's what makes the song good) and "off the table" or "safety net" are one of my favorites, they have different vibe. What more I can say is that maybe Ariana could make more songs like songs I mentioned in order to not be too repetitive but, the album it's not that bad as it could be.… Expand

    Position is a "very good" album. 6/14 tracks in standard edition is good and "test drive" in deluxe edition — the rest are skip. This album feels like in a rush when it's made. Vocals, definitely perfect — unfortunately, Ariana's songwriters and producers really didn't try to put new and spice on her sixth studio album.

    Simply the best album of the decade.
    It is not overly vibrant as most of the pop albums these days are, and yet doesnt make you wanna sleep. It is simply perfect and makes me daydream each time i listen to it.

    Positions are good. But when it comes to Ariana Grande I expected more. I didn't like so many songs, some even seem to come from the Thank U Next era for their trap-pop melody and beat.

    This album is not that bad but also not that good. The songs are okay, lyrics are okay, vocally okay. It's just a little boring. But i'm sure that you have or if you haven't listened to it yet you will have at least 3 or 4 maybe 5 favorite song in the album. In short, I enjoy listening to this album but I think Ariana can do better than that.

    It's an album where Ariana is herself 100% and includes new sounds for her songs. She's very versatile and her voice is perfect for all types of music: this album is the proof of what I just said. It's a vocal masterpiece

Seems like Dalton gave her his reasons and his arguments but Ari stills not sure, she doesn't want to go through her past again, and her feelings are unstable and her emotional status as wel, so he got her tripping falling with no safety net, no safety net means that she is already in love with him but if she fell she will lose everything bc there's no safety net, she is afraid of losing him like she does in the past with others ex-boyfriends, next we have my hair, where they are connected totally and they spend more time together, not just having sex, but she is asking him to play with her hair, she wants him to play with her hair not only with her body, it's where the love is stronger than ever, when you don't need physical connection to feel the love, just the fact that your partner is by your side and when someone plays with your hair you know the feeling, you feel safe… Expand

    This album is great. The exploration into a more R&B sound fits Ariana, and it shows her maturity and growth as an artist. The tracks all sound different, and they really fit Ariana. Recommendations: "pov", "safety net", "off the table", and "just like magic".

    I love how ariana's albums present a certain time in her life, because here in "Positions" we see ariana madly in love not just with someone but herself as she sings about self-love, manifestation, and recurring themes of love. Favorite top 3 tracks on here are "safety net" "obvious" and "pov".

    Just because a song is about sex doesn't mean that it's poor quality. I agree that it's not her best album but her vocals are awesome. It's a grower. If you're not into R&B I don't recommend it but if you like R&B you should definetly give it a listen! My favorites are Off The Table, Safety Net, My Hair, Love Language, POV and Test Drive.

    I found Positions, Ariana Grande’s latest album, to be her best yet, and the only one I have given a positive review to so far (though “Dangerous Woman” came very close). The reason for this? Her music became so much better. Sure, the lyrics can be a little dicey at times (I wish she wouldn’t sexualize them as much), though from a musical standpoint, at least in my opinion Positions is leaps and bounds over its predecessors, “Sweetener” and “thank u, next”. The lyrics were also far less annoying than in “Sweetener” and though just as expletive-ridden as “thank u, next”, the lyrics seemed to me to be more well-written. Now, this is not to say that Positions isn’t without its issues, with trap drums in several songs (though it seems as if Grande is moving away from those, or maybe that’s just my optimism speaking) and many of the swearing seeming a bit unnecessary. Overall though, I was left with a fairly positive experience. Thanks to the character limit, I am unable to provide my song-by-song commentary. In general, I actually really liked Grande’s latest. It’s a musical upgrade from her previous releases and perhaps is her best yet in that regard (less uneven than “Dangerous Woman”). There really is a lot to be admired in this release, though it would have been nice if it wasn’t as sexualized. Then again, I guess that is just Grande’s style. Anyway, I really hope that Grande continues the one-a-year streak that has been going on for a while, and now that I am all caught up with her albums, hopefully we have reached the point where her music style changes a bit. (Adult or older teen) Fans of pop will appreciate this album, as well as Grande’s fanbase. I look forward to listening to Grande’s next release whenever it comes out, and hopefully she will establish an album winning streak building off of Positions. Highlights: just like magic, safety net, my hair, west side, positions, obvious, pov, and worst behavior.    … Expand

    Ariana Grande's newest studio album came with an amazing vocal chord arrangement. What makes this album even more special is the whistle notes recorded on more than one song! It's an album with some tracks to keep you cool and some to stay up all night. In general, what makes it good is the appreciation of the potential of the Aryan singer, 10.

    I love ari, id been a fan for so long now and i gotta be honest, after listening to Positions is tiring, it old so fast, i think if ari didn't that Famous, positions didn't get that attention that other album who has deep meaning and good stuff do. I much appreciate sweetener than positions, it's medicior and unecessary song meaning, i cant stand this album but i do gave it 7, love u ari.

    It is not a bad album by the overall standards of pop music, but for Ariana it is poor piece of work, especially after Thank you, next. Some songs are great, they start growing on you, but some are just not it. I hope Ariana will come up with something better than this next time

    I wrote a long one but it didn’t save and I am not typing it all again. 8.5 rounded up to 9 shut and just like magic suck and is the worse one safety net it the best. vocals are good as always motive and my hair grew on me and overall is a good album oh yeah and sex who ever did it with her that made her write a whole album on how good you are at sex must be god that’s all

    This album is what Ariana wanted to do for so long. Its mainly pop/r&b. These songs are so dreamy and magical. My favorites are: safety net with ty dolla $ign, west side, motive with Doja Cat and my favorite is a track from deluxe edition: worst behavior. Its just a masterpiece

    Positions is clearly an album about growth and finding happiness after so much problems that Ariana Grande been trough. This may be a pop album, but we can see the R&B inspired on the instrumentals and on the vocals. All together it sounds like heaven.

    I Loved so much she is so talented.
    Ariana is the generation's voice.
    I believe this is your best work !! mainly the tracks “my hair” and “POV”

    This album is truly one of my favourites ever.. Ariana Grande managed to combine good enough lyrics with an astonishing production. Her vocal performance is completely out of this world and honestly I believe this is one of her best works on that department, if not the best. I hope that she dives into rnb even more in the future.

    Grande is making no effort to be discreet, instead explicitly owning her sexuality—the album is called Positions, after all. The juxtaposition of beautiful violin sounds and risqué lyrics has become one of Grande’s signature sounds, and it suits her well.

    With little conflict and few psychological insights, Positions zeroes in on the enviable confidence that only pop stars on top of the world and with nothing to lose can afford. It's easy to write it off as empty calories, but pop has always been described in such terms: cake, candy, chocolate, confection. Positions isn't a "sweetener" but pure sugar.
