    ____Burning! Alive! This rock! There is sadness, and greatness, and energy, and sexuality. The tempo in the compositions of the album all the time suddenly changes and it makes you listen to it in suspense. Everything, as it should be in real rock and roll.
    All this is "Pursuit of Momentary Happiness"!

    Pursuit of Momentary Happiness is excessive at times. From most other bands a swooning old-time ballad like ‘Encore’ and the slightly indulgent power-ballad ‘Words Fail Me’ would raise a big alarm. Somehow though, in Yak’s case they just about get away with it. Excess, after all, is how this record was created in the first place.

    There may be some good ideas here, and political awareness and a lack of fear to share those ideas should always be applauded, but as a record in 2019, Pursuit of Momentary Happiness doesn't even offer the moment for which it searches.
