10 years waiting for a new album, what we have in our hands is nothing but the result of a constant and dedicated work from the band, original but yet still loyal to the band´s style.

It has been 15 years since the release of Reise, Reise and 18 since Mutter. I did not think Rammstein would release another album. But, their new release is equal to their best. Powerfu. Glorious, Intelligent. but still has a dark and threatening undercurrent.

Is this a masterpiece? No. Is this the best Rammstein album ever? No. Is it going to be the album of the year? Probably no. But it is sure a solid record with both energy and message, that Rammstein are known for. The lyrical style is definitely one of the best I've heard in some time. The instruments might be simple, but well structured and it will make you headbang immediately. Till'sIs this a masterpiece? No. Is this the best Rammstein album ever? Well worth the waiting. This album is unique, blending electronic, industrial and heavy metal like only the German masters can do. Powerful, dark and refreshing! Rammstein, again, at its best!

Beautiful album. Curious to hear the deluxe tracks if there are any. Wish Deutschland had the piano outro like in the video. Radio is the only song I'm not fond of. Diverse, beautiful, a triumph.

In my opinion, the only flaw of this album is guitars could sound less digital and more crushing. The music itself is amazing. The anthemic sound of "Deutschland", dancy hooks of "Radip", "Ausländer" and "Tatoo", menacing and thrashing sound of "Zeig Dich", bluesy riff of "Sex", emo-esque chorus of "Puppe", anxious "Halloman" - everything is tasty and in high standards of German quality. In my opinion, the only flaw of this album is guitars could sound less digital and more crushing. Even the near-abscence of even simple solos isn't making this album worse - everything sounds whole. And the lyrics of "Was Ich Liebe", which were scrapped from LIFAD sessions back in the day, took their well-deserved new life with the new music. I can't stop listening to this CD on repeat. Expand

____ Although the album shows an unlit, lone match, know that it will catch fire as soon as you start listening to the album.
And there will definitely be a fire!

The energy is fluid, it is constant, the album is amazing, all the songs have their moments.
Probably the best metal album of the year.
    Till achieved his prime again.
Flake and Ollie evolution is visible.

Mi amor - cult - no great inventions, but a fresh version of typical Rammstein style - great melodies, entertaining lyrics, a kind of harder pop, a Hollywood nightmare.

It is truly provocative, has great lyrics and is well crafted. It was the first album after 10 years and there were high expectation. The free marketing from teasing / provoking the media and people in charge was truly impressive and entertaining (They know how to press the buttons of the people in charge and those always fail to recognize that they are used;-). For me they fully delivered and it is a great album. Sidenote: The videos to the song are also stylish and not less provocative than the lyrics. It is the pure Rammstein experience and you get what you expect. With this I mean the “Neue deutsche Härte” style (New German hardness; Close to industry metal but wont discuss this as the differences to other sub genres are blurry at best) that is synonymous with Rammstein, respectlees and provocative lyrics that do not shy away from harsh issue and satire. Fans and critics came to the same conclusion that it is made with care, creativity, insight, heart and soul. You can feel and hear this. My favorites are “Deutschland” were I would recommend the awesome video as it enhances the song and is truly impressive, “Radio”, “Zeig dich”, “Diamant”, “Was ich liebe” and “Ausländer” (Also recommend the video here). The other songs were good too but not entirely my cup of tea. Before anyone complains: There are great songs that I acknowledge but wont play. Overall this is by many praised as best Rammstein album and I mostly agree. Even the songs that I do not fully enjoy are so well done that it feels wrong to give a lower rating. I go with the 10/10 trend as it is fitting for such a well done album. Remark: Anyone who likes the music should visit a live concert by Rammstein for the great experience. Expand

One of the best albums of Ramstein. You need to go back to Rosenrot from 2005 to find something simular quality. 2=3 songs with low quality that's all. The rest are great

To be fair, these firebug Germans have been inching toward repeating themselves since the second album, but on what is rumored to be their last set they even repeat the keyboard trill from "Du Hast". Said keys are more prominent than ever here, as are backing vocals, diluting the proceedings a bit, and only the most driving songs like "Sex" rise above the watermark set by previous outings. Guitarist Richard Zupke's side project, Emigrate, is more varied and punchy and hummable and...well, you get it. I don't think Rammstein does, but if this really is their swan song they missed their chance to go out on top. Close, but no zigarre. Expand

This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. "Rammstein" is definitely the most favourable record from the band of the same name that has released to date.
The long-awaited release of the album, which had been teased for almost a year - a gap of exactly five hundred weeks since the previous, Liebe ist fuer Alle Da in 2009, certainly did not disappoint me.
In production of the album, I feel that Rammstein have captured the essence of the sound which they had transformed into the genre of Neue Deutsche Harte perfectly - with songs like Deutschland, Radio and Weit Weg. They have forced listeners to reflect, with moving ballads such as Diamant, Was ich Liebe and the dark Hallomann. Fans of Rammstein's heavier songs will also not be disappointed - Tattoo, Puppe and Zeig Dich are for them.
Personally, the most shocking song on the album was Puppe. At the two-minute mark, Lindemann displays vocals which I had never thought he were capable of. They convey meaning and mood perfectly, all while retaining the brash sound that Rammstein have claimed for themselves over the past 25 years.
Overall - I really like this album and have listened to it about fifty five times on repeat since its' release a week before writing. There is something for all Rammstein fans and it is an appropriate summary to their journey so far, and paves the way for many more to come.

Enjoyed the energy and the feel of this album. Some of the best riff driven songs along with the some of the most dynamic vocals from I've heard from Lindemann (PUPPE). Very solid.

It is really hard too choose one. This album is fresh.
Deutschland is very different song containing very deep melody parts.
Tattoo and Radio are probably the signature style songs by Rammstein and are really awesome.
"Zeig dich'' has a very catchy and amazing synth part which is the main attraction of this song.
''puppe'' sounds very unique and aggressive, which suits Rammstein very much.
"Ausländer" has an EDM touch and i can just not listen to EDM, I hate it actually. I don't like those annoying noises. But, what Rammstein did with it is something only they can do. It's pretty amazing.
I still have to listen the full album over and over again to love it even more. I am enjoying it so much. So happy with this album. Satisfied.

While by no means a perfect album, Rammstein’s first since 2009’s “Liebe ist für alle da” is a scintillating and sensual (if not awkwardly sexual) reminder of the meat-and-steel-pounded power of industrial music at its catchiest, fleshiest and most inventive.
