It sits balances between a '70s and '80s sound, yet is somehow incredibly modern in tone. This is something IDKHOW do remarkably well.

Razzmatazz comes at just the right time and it was well worth the wait. iDKHOW might not be changing the game exactly, but they’re packing the kind of addictive, dopamine-like qualities that’ll make you want to keep pumping coins into the slot for another hit, time and time again.

Razzmatazz is a masterful debut, one that shows promise for a pair of musicians who proudly wear their influences on their sleeves.

‘Razzmatazz’ is fun, flamboyant, and entirely of its time. A record that truly lives up to its name.

It is a rollercoaster of twists and turns; you never know how the next song is going to turn out. You go from synth and bass heavy jams, and the next thing you know it's a slow jazz satire on love songs. Each and every song is a new experience from the last, and that is it's second greatest strength. It's greatest strength is just how GOOD each and every of the tracks are. In terms of favorites, there is Leave Me Alone, Mad IQs, New Invention, Sugar Pills, Lights Go Down, and Razzmatazz. the other songs aren't slouches either. Clusterhug was a welcome splash of 2000s pop, Nobody Likes the Opening Band may have already been out on Youtube, but it's so nice to see it officially in an album. Kiss Goodnight and Need you Here are very feel good songs, and Door is a lovely piano interlude.
Overall, IDKhow has made a wonderful blend of many different sounds combined with Dallon Weekes sublime vocals and the almost SCP feeling tone throughout the entire album (very similar to 1981 Extended Play, their EP). I was eagerly counting the days when this would release, and I am happy to report I love it wholeheartedly. Congratulations on a fabulous debut album, you deserve it.
