    Arguably her best album to date. Most of the songs are very well done and well written. The first song gave a very nice way of introducing the story she want to send in the album and the ending song put a really calm emotion to the this upbeat song dominated album.

    Tylor swift saved 2017 pop when nobody tryed to. This masterpiece carries somany great songs that give you the impression of listening to at least 3 different albums, the only featurings come for a radio Smashhit and all other songs are telling her story on a magnificent way.

    I liked Swift's first albums because of the lyrics, they weren't necessarily my favorite genre but her lyrics are strong enough that it just pulls you in. Then 1989 brought it a little more in my direction, and now reputation is exactly what I wanted.

    Taylor Swift has proven once again why she's a worldwide superstar, a class A songwriter and critically-acclaimed singer. Her vocals, both main and background are powerful and full of emotions that certain songs require and I could not have asked a better album by her.

    This is one of her best work so far. I've been waiting for 3 years and Taylor did not let me down. I love the "darkness" vibe that this album brings. I can feel her pain and hope, her struggle... no matter what happens this girl is still believe in love. (And this probably one of Taylor sexiest album, yet.)

    This album has my wig! Best one yet! I love it! New Years Day is definitely one of my favorites and was a great closer for the album. The collaboration with Future and Ed Sheeran was also unexpectedly great!

    Lo amé. A pesar de que no es el mejor álbum de Taylor, es muy maduro en cuanto a letras y el concepto del álbum es realmente es muy bueno. Amo los sonidos utilizados en cada canción y cómo Taylor se atrevió a hacer algo diferente de todos sus discos anteriores.

    Álbum pop coeso e singular, e se diferencia MUITO do que toca nas rádios atualmente e da própria carreira da Taylor. É um game-changer... End Game, King Of My Heart e Dress são os destaques do álbum. Dancing With Our Hands Tied é como um 1989 meets i knew you were trouble, então é BAFO!

    This album shows what ultimately came Taylor - a smooth transition from the "true country" in the face "Taylor Swift" and "Fearless" to have more pop, but still country "Speak Now", which turned out to filled with simple motifs and primitive, but genuine and incredible sounding "Red", after which we heard directed at the mass audience "1989", full of iconic pop style.
    And in the end we got a "reputation", which completely showing only her strong and tough side and killing the image of Taylor as a singer, singing only about her next ex-boyfriend. Despite the abundance of electronic sound, melody and vocal melody in "reputation" will not disappear - there's a beautiful contrast (especially noticeable in the song "End Game", recorded together with absolutely different-sounding singers - Ed Sheeran and raper Future), which showing Swift as one of the greatest performers of our time, who can combine electronic beats with beautiful smooth vocals.
    It's definitely something new for Taylor, and for the modern music industry too. So... wait.

    LWYMMD really had me fooled. This is a fantastic pop album by Taylor, and I can't wait for what this era brings. I Did Something Bad, This Is Why We Can't Have Nice Things, Ready For It, Getaway Car, and Dress are my favorites.

On first listen, it might feel weird to listen to these brand-new polished-pop tracks, and what's even weirder is that it's hard to believe that they were made by the same person who made an album like "Speak Now".

    There's no denying that Taylor really took a leap with this record: we heard her cuss for the first time ("I Did Something Bad"), sing about sex so explicitly ("Dress"), and even turn that little grin she sometimes put on previous songs into a full-on blown drunken-like laugh ("This Is Why We Can't Have Nice Things"). Long gone is the story-telling, but the lyricism i still as sharp and as personal. The productions, the little vocal effects, the variations, and the auto-tune (there's tons of it on there) are all very-well done. Even though a track or two might feel boring ("So It Goes..." didn't click with me), there are a lot of songs that are sure to light fires inside of the listeners ("Getaway Car" is easily a highlight, "I Did Something Bad" and its outstanding witchcraft-referencing bridge, "Delicate" is so reminiscent of "Style", and the beautiful emotional demo-like closer "New Year's Day"). It's important to note that the parts where she's singing without auto-tune showcase her best vocal deliveries since she first started writing songs: her voice has grown deeper, and subtler.

    In conclusion, this is definitely not Taylor Swift's best album, but it is very personal, and very cohesive, and very sonically-adventurous, and that's good enough to make an everlasting effect. But If one thing's for sure about this record, it's that it is definitely worth the hype.    … Expand

    This is obviously the best pop album of the year. And that's saying something, because Lorde's sophomore album was very good as well. Taylor took everything people are saying about her and turned it into lyrical gold-as she always does. Buy it. Buy one for your grandma, grandpa, dog, cat, fish, sugar bowl. Literally, everything could use a little reputation in its life. :)

Delicate, Don't Blame and Getaway Car are one of her best songs period. Impressively, she doesn't lose her magical touch with her powerful songwriting and deep lyrics. You can feel a more mature, more serious, more determined Taylor Swift on this one.

    I’ve listened to every single and album by TS, “Reputation” marks a new era for TS, it leaves the road so open for the upcoming album in around 3 years telling everybody that she isn’t locked to a style or genre, that anything ANYTHING can happen. She went on airplane mode for about a year, no interviews, no major online activity, no everything, low-key life 100% and boom, here you have it: a solid album targeting awards. Another best album GRAMMY? Not sure, yes, well, no, I don’t know, it’s just the first album play. Too many great albums these months. Time will tell.

    I’m a professional EDM producer signed to major Trance labels and I can feel the huge effort put into this album, the Pop/EDM/Trap mixture is wonderful, innocent commercial Trap sound by the way, not the real nasty one hehe. Tons of great pop sounds merged with future bass synths, great synth LFO tweaks. This album has modern (futuristic) sounds everywhere, the Trap hi-hats are perfect. Vocoder use enhance Taylor’s voice properly. “…Ready For it?” is such a great song to start it all. Bass is so powerful that it hits your chest. “I Did Something Bad” is a storm of beats with crazy synths trying to mess with your mind. Did I mention that low frequency sounds are stunning on this album? Yes! “Dancing With Our Hands Tied” has a professional bass sound everywhere, the kick keeps pounding in your head without any introduction. Ed Sheehan & Future help Taylor to communicate a strong message on “End Game.”

    Taylor took a new path in her life and music, the world saw this. This is like a 180 degree change. Now I’m curious about the tour, the live performances and more because I’m sure these will be different too. You will find only the singles released in the past weeks in streaming platforms. TS and her team are marketing experts, releasing the rest of the album everywhere except streaming platforms is brilliant, it attracts sales, an album sale is worth hundred times a streaming play.     Taylor described this as "a night time album" and I can totally see why, it shows a dark part of her and at the same time a soft - and really really in love - one.
