    This album shows Selena's changes. From the first to the last track she keeps us involved on this masterpiece.
    Especially the tracks "Revival", "Hands to Myself", "Survivors" and "Perfect", my four favorites.

    This is Selena's best album to date - I have been listening to it since October and it has been on repeat ever since. The album has so far created hit after hit - Good For You, Same Old Love and Hands to Myself have all gone platinum. This really is Selena's Revival.

    Melhor álbum da rainha, tombou os haters que chamavam de sem qualidade, a bixa pisou de novo. Só hinos no hinário. Não esperava menos de Jesus do pop teen ñ eh msm.     The best album of 2015. Selena gave us new sounds that are amazing. Her vocals don't sound auto-tuned. It has Latin vibes, R&B, Pop and Gospel. Every song is different and every one has it own "magic". Highlights: Revival, Hands To Myself, Rise, Perfect, Sober & Body Heat.

It starts with a little monologue accompanied by a subtle sound of waves, which really establishes that personal connection. The track has an electronic buildup, empowering verses and an epic chorus, making this a perfect opening curtain. “I’m becoming my own salvation,” she proclaims.

    To begin the era of Revival, the sultry “Good For You (ft. A$AP Rocky)” was released during the summer which was met with critical acclaim and chart success. It was definitely the perfect choice as the leading single because it gives a glimpse of Gomez’ departure from her juvenile records. Its lyrics are provocative and it’s a genre she has never done before. The captivating promo-single “Me & The Rhythm” which is named as one of the best new tracks during its release, is a disco-influenced gem. The second single, “Same Old Love” is a jazz-tingled electro-pop song which was also positively reviewed. Charli XCX harmonizes with Selena during its angsty chorus.

    Although, it's true that Selena may not be a powerhouse vocalist, she’s been taking vocal lessons before the creation of this album up to the preparation for her upcoming tour. Looking at her recent performances, her voice has improved dramatically. “Same Old Love” is not the the only time Selena uses profanity as a musical device to express her frustration and being sick of the toxic relationship she has experienced. In the stripped down “Camouflage”, she sings, “I’ve got so much **** to say but I feel like I’m camouflaged”. This piano ballad is truly one of her greatest songs to date as it showcases her vocal vulnerability. The R&B track “Nobody” is one of those tracks where her vocals shine and sound so rich. You definitely know she’s been taking her music career seriously. Especially the fact, she is now under the same label as Lady Gaga, Lana Del Rey, Madonna, Gwen Stefani, and many other talented vocalists.. she’s definitely been working on those pipes. In “Perfect”, a brilliantly penned ballad with a heartbreaking chorus, she sings about how being cheated on made her insecure and you can really feel her emotions in this stunning song. “Cologne” is a beautifully produced and written bonus track. “Sober”, is a highlight of the album and one of the songs that should be a single. It has heavy synths, a nostalgic looped sample, and a soaring chorus. You don’t know how to love me when you’re sober, she sings in this marvelous track.

    The album of course has a lot of dance jams and what is amazing about them is that they do not sound generic EDM but have a fresh evolved sound. “Hands To Myself” is produced by juggernaut Pop hits producer Max Martin. According to him, it is one of the greatest songs he has ever produced. It has a minimalistic production and a snappy beat. Selena flaunts her confidence in her sexuality (Can’t keep my hands to myself / I mean I could but why would I want to) then she comes swooping in with sexy moans and beautiful vocals. “Kill em with Kindness” is a club-ready track with a catchy whistle hook and inspiring lyrics. “Survivors” is a confident euro dance track that has a tropical tone. The final track in the standard edition is the enlightening “Rise” which lives up to its title with its gospel choir and a chorus that takes you to church.

    Also for the first time, Selena flaunts her roots in this album with upbeat latin-influenced bops. The vigorous “Body Heat” is one of Selena’s most sexually-charged songs to date for its lyrical content (”So press me down till I scream / If you’re the flame, I’m kerosene / I’m burning up, baby). “Outta My Hands (Loco)” is a bonus track which has an animated chorus and pretty dreamy verses. The torch fire “Me and My Girls” is a cinematic dance track with its guitar riffs and mariachi dance breakdown. An anthem for you and your squad as she says “No jodas (don’t **** with us)”. A track that will empower you if you’re single.

    Although I love Selena Gomez’ entire discography, the general criticism of her albums with the Scene is that they sounded juvenile. For Stars Dance, critics said that it felt impersonal and lacks remnant of creativity.
    Revival however is a huge step up, even light years ahead. It also stands out among many existing Pop albums. Like its iconic album cover, it really shows a vulnerable side of her. It is a solid pop masterpiece with an atmospheric sound and extremely catchy melodies where Selena Gomez gets reborn in every moment as she ventures sonically into new ground from one track to the next.     This is my first Selena Gomez album, and I am really pleased with it. This feels like an honest statement from her part and also a progression in her music. "Hands To Myself" is probably the most original pop track I've heard in years. "Sober" is the perfect blend between mainstream music and well-crafted pop music. I hope she succeeds with this amazing effort.

    Quando eu escutei o Revival com calma e pude avaliar cada música com cautela eu não sabia se iria sobreviver até Cologne.

    O Revival só me deixou claro a certeza que eu já tinha, toda a evolução da Selena caminhou para ele. É como se ela finalmente tivesse se encontrado como artista e como pessoa e cada música prova isso, cada música é um "renascimento" dela. Tudo tem um significado nesse álbum, não são apenas músicas colocadas avulsas em um álbum e mandado para a loja, todas elas tem um sentimento e um pouco da Selena. O Revival só mostra que a Selena evoluiu como pessoa e como artista. Eu nunca duvidei dela e eu sabia que mesmo com todos os julgamentos que ela recebia um dia, mesmo que demorasse, ela iria mostrar a todos que ela não era apenas um artista fabricada que foi colocada no mundo fonográfico apenas para vender e esse dia chegou e ela finalmente fez todos pagarem a língua.

    Eu realmente não consigo decidir qual a minha música favorita do Revival, mas entre todas as músicas Nobody e Perfect foram as que mais mexeram comigo. Foi um tiro duplo que eu levei. Entre todas eu acho que essas e Revival (song) formam a minha trindade do álbum, foram as músicas que mais me tocaram e que eu particularmente considero as melhores. Acho que uma música que poderia ser descartada é Outta My Hands. Foi a que eu menos gostei e achei bem chatinha. Fora essa eu gosto de todas as outras.

    Eu estava com medo de colocar tanto expectativa no Revival e ele acabar me decepcionando, mas a rainha me trouxe algo melhor do que eu imaginava. Um trabalho inovador e diferente de tudo o que ela já havia feito antes, ela arriscou sair da sua zona de conforto e como eu já esperava ela mais uma vez não me decepcionou. Cada música que passava era uma sensação diferente e sem brincadeira, eu estava tremendo e arrepiada com cada música, isso nunca aconteceu com nenhum trabalho de um ídolo meu. Acho que a primeira vez que eu sinto essas sensações escutando um trabalho novo de um ídolo meu, a Selena realmente soube como tocar nos meus mais profundos sentimentos com o Revival, sério.
    Pra mim tudo nesse álbum é perfeito, as letras, a melodia os vocais... Tudo. Eu ainda estou em choque com a perfeição desse álbum.

    Enfim, a era Revival está vindo para calar a boca de muitos @' que duvidaram da Selena. A rainha pisou com esse 74 e eu tenho certeza que a nota vai subir.    … Expand

    It's amazing to see the maturation of this girl so fast . Revival is by far one of the best creations of the year. Songs that make you curious to find out more, something with little suspense and sensuality . Vocal is very good, serious full, mastering studio and very smooth head of voices she had never tried ... Revival is a wonderful job !

    This is defiantly her best album and one of the best pop albums of the year. I can tell that she will have great commercial success with this. She has really improved her vocals and her new sound is very cohesive. The album flows from song to song very well. Her new found self is beautiful and I can't wait for more music.

    This is a really good album, so much mature than her previous ones. Songs like "Sober" "Good For You" "Hands To Myself" "Perfect" etc, make this album one of the best albums of her career and one of the best from this year. Great lyrics and fresh sound, keep the good work Selena!

    Showing probably her best side yet, Selena prove that even without the most powerful voice you can put your soul into all the kinds of music. When you hear the tracks you can totally hear Selena and her feelings. Best songs are Revival, Camouflage, Good For You And Me & My Girls.

    In my opinion, ONE of the best albums of the year! I want Body Heat, Me and My Girls, Survivors and Outta of My Hands as single, and no matter this album take it or not take # 1, what matters is the content, not the numbers! This album is wonderful!

    This album is a HUGE step forward from stars dance, the beautiful lyrics, the wide variety of sounds, its a stunning album and everyone should give it a listen. She co wrote 11 songs on this album (including the bonus tracks + target tracks) which is more than any on her other albums. Cannot wait to see what else she has in store!

Inicialmente Selena dizia que cantava por hobbie, nunca levou a sério tal profissão mas agora els realmente renasceu, passou um ano trabalhando no melhor álbum da carreira, álbum esse que se tornou um dos melhores álbuns do ano.     Her musical growth is evident on this album. Amazing, sexy pop songs that sound really well. Extremely proud of her and this album. Perfect! Personal faves are Me and The Rhythm, Hands To Myself, Camouflage and Sober. But pretty much all, haha.

    This album is VERY different to her others albums, and show us a Selena that is muture enough to sing songs like "Camouflage", "Hands To Myself" "Nobody" "Perfect" "Sober" and basically the HOLE album is a POP PERFECTION. This is (TO ME) the best album of 2015 so far. SLAY SELENA!!

    Revival is a powerful album, it’s not talking about her past relationships but her about her experience in life. This is not just an album this is an art! I wasn’t a fan of hers till I listened to how mature she became with her vocals and her saying in life. This is definitely her best work yet and might be the best album of 2015, it’s refreshing and new.

    The album is great, is perfect, is completely different from their previous albums, has a different rhythm which has at the same time soft and calm songs but same has moved and funny songs. Simply the best album I've heard so far
