They just keep getting better and better. This is such an amazing album. These guys are really great live and also extremely down to earth and friendly.

This is a great album. Just relaxing - (not melancholic or boring in structure as other reviews suggested). Easy to listen to while being quite complicated in time sequences and musical layers. Very well produced and the vocals sound as good as anything Radiohead has accomplished. Really good all the way through. I don't get the negative reviews by some of these idiot critics.

This is an OUTSTANDING album. One of my faves. Flowing, ethereal sounds with tempo changes, complex layering, and great production quality that does justice to the intricacies of the instrumentation. A masterpiece in my estimation.

This successor has some Morricone moments, but is comparatively wan and blandly moderne. [Jun 2015, p.96]

It's a pleasant enough experience on the whole, but could've been so much more--and that is what's so frustrating with Rituals.

It’s charming and enveloping, but more importantly, it sets up Other Lives for future efforts now that their folk ties have been shed.
