While this album has some of my favorite Atmosphere tracks (Always Coming Back Home to You and Gotta Lotta Walls), there aren't as many winners on this as previous albums. The album is a good album, but it doesn't live up to Atmosphere standards. Definitely worth listening to, but is not one I'd recommend to people new to Atmosphere. Expand

I lived in MN for a while and respected Slug. His music was his own no MC had his styler. But Slug has lost his touch his new cd's I don't like I miss the old Slug but he's trying to make the money by going big. Anyways Snap back to reality slug DON'T SELL OUT!

This... has got be amazing. To listen to it in the way that it was played. You have to put your self in the place of the characters in each. Think about its someones life that your seeing. NUmber 19 is off the hook. Simple but complete beat and rythm just complete flow. I gave it a Fat 9

These guys are a bunch of wannabe thugs. I saw them live at the warped tour, and they almost incited a riot by pissing off the crowd. Not cool, especially if your trying to win fans over!

Though not my favorite Atmosphere record, I do enjoy this one alot, it's only down fall is the lengthy skits which I only found worth listening to once.

All of atmospheres albums are great. Their style is very unique. If you listen to the lyrics closely you can really hear the genius.

This album kicked a whole lotta ass, hell im from columbus ohio, i went to the show when atmosphere came here. the energy was outrageous. The songs are full of metaphores. This album really makes alotta sence if you are not unintelligable.

I don't know what the hell everybody is talking about. What the hell did you people expect??? Many of u seem to think that this is not a good cd, I don't know why that would be, I think (and so do most people) this is .. how can i put it... A BOMB ASS ALBUM. This cd is great. Slug has always had an intensive lyrical ability. Slug has never dissapointed me with any of his music. I don't know what the hell everybody is talking about. What the hell did you people expect??? This cd is a damn good cd for all the MOTHER FUCKING HATERS ha Ha, some songs dont have a catchy chorus but alot do. The energy is elevated ,the songs that are good make you want to bump your head, others are kinda dull and pointless. Suggest you buy it, good phrases and tight beats but its not slugs best album. A very tight cd, ill beats and as usual very thoughtprovoking lyrics. The track "Always Coming Back Home To You" makes it worth the purchase by itself.

Definitely not as good as Lucy Ford or God Loves Ugly. Where did Slug go? Where's the guy who kicked rhymes about struggling in South Minneapolis? The twangy Blues vibe that Ant brought on the last two LPs is missing and it sounds like they are trying much too hard to bust out of the underground scene. I found this CD to be quite boring compared to what we're used to hearing Definitely not as good as Lucy Ford or God Loves Ugly. Where did Slug go? Good, solid effort to make a unique cd. Numerous tracks are hot, backed by ANT's great production and Slug's great lyrics, flow, and presence. However, it's not a pefect album. Definitely worth buying...

  1. Atmosphere are clearly at the top of the emo-rap game; it's just not necessarily a game true schoolers will want to play.

Seven's Travels ultimately nods to the mainstream as much as to the underground. [Nov 2003, p.116]
  3. Life is too short to spend valuable time with a record as essentially inessential as Seven's Travels.
