this is such a beautiful album from start to finish. niall has really delved in deep with his music and you can hear how it’s matured. 1000000000/10. an album with no skips!

Big Niall fan. Loved the last 2 albums which remain on my playlists and rotations. There isn't wrong with The Show Album per se...but honestly there are maybe 3 songs that will go on playlists and the rest are...fine.. but are not a lot of repeat listens for me, where the last 2 had most songs on repeat for a long time.

For me, there were a couple ways he could've gone and this album

For me, there were a couple ways he could've gone and this album leans a little too far into the ambience and and ethereal type of sound. It's hard for me to articulate, but i feel like i would have to be in a very specific mood to really enjoy it.

A significant part of The Show’s appeal is down to Horan’s quiet charm – he always sounded far more convincing in his low-key guitar-based tunes than, for example, Liam Payne in his perplexing attempts at club bangers.

Horan’s sound of choice is much more understated, typically revolving around folky, acoustic strings and soft vocals. The Show, his third solo offering, is more of the same.

With each subsequent album, Horan just gets better and better. The Show is his most immediate and engaging set to date, endlessly listenable and full of heart and charm.
