This album is what falling in love sounds like. Last Forest and Records of Your Tenderness are two favorite tracks, but every song is great-- not a skip in the bunch.

- Heavy in sensibility, TORRES doesn't

Heavy in sensibility, TORRES doesn't know how to give a creative twist to a music that wants to be big and intimate. Sometimes is boring and some others it's kind of interesting. Mackenzie Scott's voice is not the most beautiful and the concept that she explores in "Silver Tongue", even if it has a clear size, it doesn't feel strong or complete.

An early triumph of 2020. Silver Tongue is a braid of complex layers that rewards repeated listens.

Torres delivers a personal and tender new album with her unique way to define love. Silver Tongue it might feel esoteric, and it is definitely not an album of a single listening, but it worth give it a try.

A rewarding collection of expertly crafted, darkly emotive electro-folk rockers. [Feb 2020, p.85]

Its nine songs, all evocative and transporting, strive toward a new vocabulary for connection, confidence, and queer love.

Like Torres' previous album, Silver Tongue takes some time to unfold, but it's well worth it; by fluently expressing the resilience it takes to bounce back from hard times, she comes into her own.
