Skiptracing is the journey we get to take with Brettin and it’s a fine one overall . The tones are warm, the sequencing is great, and the songs are mostly solid.

This review contains spoilers, click full review link to view. I think this album is very good, the only problem I have with it is how it falls off very hard during the 2nd half of the record.

There's some random 2 minutes noise track, followed by a song, an interlude, another song, then another interlude to close off the album. Kind of broke the mood for me. Take them off and the album would be a 10/10.

Mild high club, brainchild of Alexander Brettin is an extraordinary trip into soulfully seasoned jazz psychedelia which truly is at it's peak.Mild high club, brainchild of Alexander Brettin is an extraordinary trip into soulfully seasoned jazz psychedelia which truly is at it's peak. ''Skiptracing'' is one of the albums of the decade, innovative sounds, progressions and unique vocals make this album so sophisticated while boasting a youthful image. In a genre that continues to expand, Mild high Club is persistent, few have been able to accomplish such a full and well put-together record as Skiptracing! Full Review »
