Nov 26, 2021morno, mas com alguns destaques. por mais que seja o álbum mais inferior da lorde em termos de sonoridade, ainda assim é um grande acerto se comparado com outros lançamentos.

Aug 23, 2021I didn't like it much, I expected more. The songs are similar and tiresome.
-
Aug 20, 2021This was just disappointing. Weak songwriting and bland production, leading to the whole middle of the album just blending together.

Aug 29, 2021At best, cohesive. At worst, repetitive. Jack Antonoff’s hazy guitar is present on almost every song on this album, to the point where tracks begin to blend together. It doesn’t sound bad, but many tracks are plain and unremarkable. Slightly disappointed knowing what Lorde can do, especially with a lot of time.

Aug 25, 2021Solar Power lacks energy and the strong personality Lorde showed us in her previous body of work, "Melodrama". What actually saves this work is Jack Antonoff's work that is great, as always.

Nov 18, 2021I love love love Lorde, and have bought the vinyl to support but… I feel this will sit on the shelves and won’t get much spin time. It def an album you need to be in the mood for, not sure which mood that is yet to be determined. I won’t stop trying though as she is really invested in this, maybe before it’s time ?

Aug 20, 2021I love Lorde! She's my favorite singer, but I'm disappointed! I always try to be open minded when an artist I like change their sound or voice, but I really love Lorde from "Pure Heroine" her deep voice and the beats... I love Melodrama too, I heard it so much that it would be ruined if it was a fisical CD, so I expected more from this one! :/

Sep 19, 2021Solar Power is a collection of subdued songs, which are quite similar to each other with only few elements tearing them apart. Just like Taylor Swift's folk albums, songs from Solar Power can be an okay background music with only few standout tracks. The title tracks shows that Lorde knows how to build-up the song, while "Mood Ring" has nice production choices.

Aug 20, 2021The album was very underwhelming after such a masterpiece like Melodrama. It would’ve been less upsetting if she released it earlier so people wouldn’t have raised expectations to a high level. Cute beach album but that’s all.

Aug 29, 2021An album that, like Melodrama, could have thrown the listener on the bed, but allowed only to relax.
-
Jul 6, 2022this album has no structure, difficult to digest in my opinion but I rescue and do not deny that Lorde is a very good artist.
-
Aug 31, 2021Not the best album but there's a couple good tracks. I didn't feel that excitement of the past albums. I'm kinda disappointed.

Aug 20, 2021I'm no the biggest Lorde fan, but I like her music. Unfortunately, 'Solar Power' feels not that exciting and empowering. There's a couple of good tracks here, but the rest is filler, in my opinion. I think Jack Antonoff's involvement is to blame here. The way he tries to incorporate Lana Del Rey and others' vibe into Lorde's music is kind of disappointing.

Dec 1, 2021I knew she'd never be able to do an album like melodrama, but never thought she'd do a terrible album like this one.

Aug 21, 2021Not bad, but not great. Lorde could give us so much more. A little bit disappointing, especially after Melodrama.
-
Aug 20, 2021It is important to choose a good album theme, but more importantly, to express the theme properly. Lorde's latest album didn't really show that important thing.
Except for 1-2 songs (Fallen Fruit, Mood Ring) , all songs are boring and similar and normal as if they were in the box.

Aug 20, 2021Casi todas las canciones se parecen mucho entre ellas respecto al sonido. Las letras dejan mucho que desear. Para una espera de 4 años esto no cumple las expectativas.
-
Aug 20, 2021So fckin booooooooring, all the songs sounds like the same, I know it's a "new phase" but maybe happiness it's not for Lorde, I mean, good for her but this album is a total floop.
-
Aug 20, 2021incredible album, very different from the usual albums, with incredible references, Lorde excelled in this

Aug 22, 2021Lorde song feels like you are being teleported in an island at the same time at the comfort of your home. It is nice to hear her song while watching the sun from sunrise to sunset. This is a new step for lorde to open a lot of avenues in terms of genre.

Apr 3, 2022Chato.
-
Aug 26, 2021Unambitious and disappointing. While there are a few alright songs, the last half really loses the album's momentum. If this was released by any other artist, it would be completely unremarkable.
-
Aug 30, 2021Boring, hardly any shining moments. I was not a fan of this direction. I wish that there had been more energy and less holistic healing ritual.

Aug 30, 2021All these connections Lorde is trying to make: her strange pastiche imagination of the ’70s, that random spoken word interlude by Robyn about climate change, and the themes of “sun healing,” never fully reach each other. Often, they come off as disingenuous and out of touch more than they read as brilliant, or comical. Whether the album is one big prank, or just one majorly failed experiment, the gist of having the “privilege to ignore” is lost in translation. All you are left with is just a handful of pretty alright songs.
-
Aug 26, 2021If you're riding and vibing with Lorde, this bright shapelessness is superb mood music. If you're not riding her wave, Solar Power can seem elusive, even cloying, as it circles and sways with a smile.

Aug 26, 2021This might not be the album that everyone wanted from Lorde, but it’s a solid, dreamy effort that deserves exploration. There’s plenty here worthy of attention if you can focus for long enough.
