Feb 15, 2016Oasis - I mean, MONEY - channels 90's britpop legends in making a grandiose, operatic record of their own, and they do so to great success. While Suicide Song's quality may drop slightly on the back half of the record, there are enough great ideas here to keep it engaging throughout. A very solid release and one of the best albums of January, 2016.

Feb 16, 2016Suicide Songs juggles anguish and optimism in equal measure, somehow mournful and triumphant in search for some kind of personal salvation.

Feb 3, 2016On this, their second album, MONEY have created a difficult listen on two levels. Firstly, in creating a collection of songs which, if not directly about suicide, often convey a hopeless state of mind and heart. Secondly, owing to the awkward collision of some fine playing with a largely monotonous production and some painfully strained singing from vocalist/guitarist Jamie Lee.

Feb 1, 2016While the pudding is occasionally over-egged, in general this is a work of great individuality and poise that should increase MONEY’s currency as one of the best young British bands to emerge in recent years.
