    This album is decent, but unfortunately doesn't match the amount of hype it was given. Started off strong with a brief ballad, but then we get into Pharrell's territory, who has a very distinctive production style that Ariana's voice (often monotonous) just doesn't suit very well. When they team up, it's either a hit or miss. I can imagine other artists who always seem to do his productionThis album is decent, but unfortunately doesn't match the amount of hype it was given.     Ariana Grande is back on another album. So excited to see her back in action. Her album however was more of a disappointment rather than enjoyment.

    I am a fan, and just love her but I feel let down. This is Pharrell Williams album. Great vocals as always

    Definitivamente esse é o pior trabalho da Ariana, músicas completamente esquecíveis e mal produzidas, Bordeline é uma bomba sonora não consigo entender como essa música foi parar no álbum, Breathing, Everytime, No Tears Left to Cry e God is a Woman são as únicas músicas memoráveis e que se destacam na imensa bagunça que é esse álbum. Verdadeira decepção.

    The best album of the year, Ariana put R&B songs with pleasure. Sweetener is her most confident album. Song how Breathin, show how Ariana is the best artist of 2000’s era. This is the album that we needed in a long time. Congrats Ariana ♡

The Max Martin tracks fare much better but just don't compare to her previous work or similar work from other artists. Lyrics, which have never been a strong point for her, are somehow even worse on this album-laughably bad in many places. I expected much more from Ariana since it's her fourth album and the last one was Dangerous Woman, her best body of work to date. In addition, Ariana has said before that this is her most personal album,This is not Ariana's best album, but it's not her worst. Pharrell Williams is the reason why the album got a 7 for me. Max Martin and his team saved it with ''Everytime'' and ''Breathin''. I expected much more from Ariana since it's her fourth album and the last one was Dangerous Woman, her best body of work to date. In addition, Ariana has said before that this is her most personal album, but she hasn't even co-written most of the songs. I feel a bit dissapointed because the singles were so good and they don't tell the truth about the album's real sound.

    Best album yet by Miss Ariana, the only songs probably liked the least were the ones produced by Pharell, but Everytime and Better off are my absolute favorites. She experimented a bit and I think it worked very well!

    This is her most different work,but in good way. Sweetener is cohesive. Ariana give us a lot of R&B songs mixed with pop sounds making a really great mix. You can tell she has been waiting to do an R&B album her whole life, even though she kind of did it with her debut album 'Yours Truly'.

    Her biggest mistake was collaborating with Pharell Williams. The first half of the album which is produced by him is so painfully awful. It sounds more like his songs and less of Ariana's. I also cannot for the life of me find any single-worthy songs. The era should just be over, maybe release Breathin first which will flop and then move on.

    I loved Ariana's fourth album “ Sweetener” it’s so mature and full of new sounds for her. If you didn’t like her because she was “screaming” all the time well this is the album you might wanna hear. You can tell that this album was made to make people happy and not remind them about dark and sad days. Her best album yet. Buy it on iTunes and stream it on Spotify and Apple Music.

Even though what happened put her in a really bad place, she took that and turnt what could have lead to her silence for years, and bounced back with some beautiful music, and she came back more mature and more brave and daring that she probably has ever been in her life.This album, really marks a huge milestone. Not only in Ariana’s career, but for her fans, and generally in music too. Not many artists would have thought back the way that Ariana did and I think she has gained a new level of respect from the music industry, other artists, her fans, people who aren’t her fans, those from the UK, and everyone else from around the world. I do feel this album will be remembered as a symbol of bravery because of that, and Ariana, and her fans should be so proud.The album as a whole actually is incredible. Not only because of the triumphant return, and the story behind it, but because Ariana took risks musically and it payed off. There was a few songs on the album that after a few listens could get better, and there are a few songs that may not, but generally, the album is great. There are some great songs. I’m excited to see more from Ariana in the future.I feel proud of Ariana, and I feel everyone else should too.     The album is good. but there's something that makes me feel bored while listening to the album. For me, the beat is same. To be honest, Dangerous Woman is better than Sweetener. but i there are some bops to this album like God is a Woman, Successful, Breathing and Sweetener they sound good actually.

    I am completely delighted by the way Ariana approached each song. At first, everything sounds weird and you seem out of your comfort zone. And that's what this album stands for, changes, ripeness and everything that does not seem to be beneficial to you, but in the end, you need a dose of sweetener to brighten up your life. ♥ thanks so much Ari ♥

    Um ótimo e arriscado trabalho da Ariana. Ela explora as várias possibilidades de sua voz, assumindo assim vários riscos. O álbum é coeso, maduro; provando que a Ariana pode construir carreira em todos os gêneros e não se contentar em fazer pop genérico.

I was honestly a little thrown back by the new direction and sound Ariana is going for with the new album. At first I wasn't too into it, but on further reflection, I am glad she is taking a risk and not just giving us the same album over and over again. In the end, I thought it was a success. It is a solid album that shows that she is capable of more and is willing to go there.

    Um album diferente, inovador, a ariana consegue se destace em meio a todos os outros artistas de sua geração, pois ela busca se desafiar constantemente, o álbum mostra um lado mais R&B da Ariana e me lembrou muito os anos 2000, everytime é depois de God is a woman, a melhor musica do album inteiro

    Many were waiting for a Break free 2.0 and an album full of bublegum pop bangers , but it's clear Ariana is over that. This album goes 100% personal , it's all about her and not about trying to follow trends. Most of Pharrell's productions work, they sound fresh , diffrerent. Others such as Blazed could have a more dynamic production and a stronger hook. In Get Well soon Ariana show herMany were waiting for a Break free 2.0 and an album full of bublegum pop bangers , but it's clear Ariana is over that. This album goes 100% personal , it's all about her and not about trying to follow trends. Most of Pharrell's productions work, they sound fresh , diffrerent. In Get Well soon Ariana show her soulful roots mixed with a jazzy production & Trap elements While she sings her best lyrics to date . However on Breathing, Everytime, No tears, God is a woman & Borderline (& low-key successful) Ariana sings the catchiest hooks surrounded by a wonderful production.
    This album is 100% non formulaic , personal , fresh and deserved to be her best.

    Estou feliz com esse album, letras muito boas, produções diferentes e ótimas, nada genérico, diferente de seus antecessores mas as vezes me lembrou o Yours Truly ❤. Infelizmente não me parece muito com o tipo de música que os fãs dela gostam(mas especificamente os farofeiros) então prevejo muita reclamação

    A cohesive album that sparks an evolution from Ariana Grande's past discography. Her experimental sounds work well, providing still a pop sound from her, but with an addition of trap & R&B.

    é o melhor albúm de 2018 quem concorda tá vivo, todas as músicas são perfeitas. ela saiu um pouco do pop e isso ajudou muito, mostra que ela é artista pra tudo

    Grande’s new sound, the Williams-produced Not-Bangers, only make up half of the album. These standout tracks are interspersed between standard pop tracks. ... That’s not to say that the Bangers on Sweetener are bad--it’s more that they belong in previous era of Grande and they spoil the flow between songs. Sweetener may not be the dawning of a new age for Ariana but it could be a step towards somewhere weird and wonderful.

    Ms. Grande backs up her statements with song-and-dance mastery. ... She’s her own choir, support group and posse. While a few guest vocalists (Mr. Williams, Nicki Minaj, Missy Elliott) provide a little grit for contrast, Ms. Grande sails above any fray, past or present. Her aplomb is her triumph.
