I feel like im overreacting for sure but this album feels rushed. And for Ariana, who is an amazing artist, is not good enough. I think, for my taste, the current genre is not helping, trap is ruining the music. It helps Ariana image to up lift the album.

Swifties who went through so much to give this a negative rating after the release of Lover are literally what makes them the most insecure and hypocritical fandom ever. Giving my rating, as a listener after 6 months, one of the most cohesive pop album of 2019 for sure.

This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. Ariana reveals a part of her she hasn't revealed on any other albums of hers, not even on "Sweetener". The album begins with a sense of denial, feeling needy, wanting space, faking your happiness... to feeling acceptance, finding your true independence and learning from your past relationships. "thank u, next" brings a personal part of Ariana we have never seen, with some of her best produced music with "ghostin," and it truly deserves its score of 10. Expand

This album is really average, has no special features, and it is no different from his last album. It’s a piece of it.

2 points are given to the song "Ghosting". And the rest of the album is just meaningless. Take 7 RINGS for an example, it spread the value of wealth and showing off.

Overall, ‘thank u, next’ contains many entertaining lyrics and instrumentals. The lyrical content in this project is easily her most cohesive and personal to date. Although the album doesn’t follow a specific storyline, it doesn’t fail to tell a tale of emotions. The lyrical content in this project is easily her most cohesive and personal to date. Although the album doesn’t follow a specific storyline, it doesn’t fail to tell a tale of emotions. From a sad and slowly progressive song like ‘ghostin’, to an upbeat and exciting one like ‘bloodline’, Ariana’s new project certainly is diverse. Unlike her past albums, this one isn’t as focused on belting extremely high notes (although ‘bad idea’ contains many), instead it focuses on lyrical content, which brings a new flavor to her discography. This project proves Ariana’s ability to mature her music throughout her life, 10/10 Expand

this album is wonderful in less than 6 months of her fourth album "Sweetener" Aryan returns even more mature and confident, with rhythms that take her out of her comfort zone, Arrian brings songs of overcoming, pain and joy ... totally pop princess

Very overhyped. The singles kept the entire album afloat but other than that it has a generic trap vibe which is given to most of the songs on the album. It doesn't showcase Ariana's amazing vocals.

thank u, next builds on Sweetener by switching modes of scale. It’s less about looking at the world than being by yourself, more focused on the textures of memory than our actions stemming from it. ... thank u, next is also Ariana’s most stunning vocal album.

[7 Rings] is a hit, but isn’t actually all that great, using Rodgers and Hammerstein’s My Favourite Things as its sing-song musical base. The rest of the album remains of interest for its evolutions in sound, delivery and attitude.
