Ah what can I say for a Rob Zombie album that hasn't been said already before. A perfect blend of sex, monsters, rock, horror and metal. Wrapped up beautifully in lyrics that, at times might not make sense, in the end you simply don't care...because it's Rob Zombie, and it's a new album. I give it a 10, because I'm just a fan and I love his work, but if I would want to deduct a half aAh what can I say for a Rob Zombie album that hasn't been said already before. I give it a 10, because I'm just a fan and I love his work, but if I would want to deduct a half a point, it would be for the album's overall length, coming in at just barely around the 32 minute mark. At the same time, short length aside, in a way this rather keeps the album fresh, in my opinion anyway. Rock on, Rob. m/ Expand

I'm not sure if there's enough to review within an album that barely hits the half-hour mark by the time it's over, but I will say this: it's bombastic, audacious, and a hell of a good time. The amount of fun Zombie and John 5 had recording this album is instantly evident and infectious, and it isn't nearly as profane as the title of both the album and some of the songs might suggest. The amount of fun Zombie and John 5 had recording this album is instantly evident and infectious, and it isn't nearly as profane as the title of both the album and some of the songs might suggest. In fact, it seems rather goofy as Zombie's love of horror movies and macabre theatrics shine through in both his lyrics and his music videos. The videos to come from the album all have an introduction that, in some cases, makes up at least half of the entire runtime. I highly encourage that you don't skip over them to get straight to the music if you choose to go watch them, as they are highly entertaining in their own right.

Rob Zombie's "House of 1000 Corpses" and "The Devil's Rejects" are two of my all-time favorite horror movies, but I'm a little ashamed to admit that until now I hadn't listened to a single one of his albums, whether a solo effort or with White Zombie, all the way through, but this album proves he's in as strong of music-making form as he ever was (even if some of his more recent filmmaking efforts have fallen a bit flat). So kudos, Rob.

This album is very explosive. Heavy and addictive songs.
Rob and John did a great job composing this album. Are you a fan of this artist? Get the album.
There is only one let down: it is short. Yes, it is almost 32 minutes long. Some of the tracks are not even songs. But that is the only nitpick I could make with this album. I gave it a 9, because this alum is really that good. For

For now it is on my favourite list for album of the year.
And the best part: it came out at my birthday ;)

Some of the hookiest hooks and riffiest riff in his catalogue. [30 Apr 2016, p.67]

Fans of Zombie's rockabilly occult schtick will appreciate this new volume--not only for its respectful nod to his legacy--but also because it's Zombie giving them what they want: freaky fun that entertains, shocks, and rocks.
