    As a new release, it’s got more than enough exploratory factors to keep the band from sounding stale, but it also stays true to the sounds that have turned us all into maggots in the first place.

    ‘The End, So Far’ may rattle many of the metal faithful, but for the prowess and lasting impression of this record alone, this is a true Slipknot record. It’s unlikely that many fans who’ve been along for the whole ride would jump ship now.

    The album is amazing. The transition from one song to another is exceptional. They really tell a story! It has a mix of their previous work,The album is amazing.     I have seen many so-called "fans" complain about this album, apparently they want to listen to the same music for 20 more years, just becauseI have seen many so-called "fans" complain about this album, apparently they want to listen to the same music for 20 more years, just because it is "heavy", it is worth mentioning that it is the only argument to stand on an altar in Iowa, because it is "heavy, beyond that, compared to the other albums it's weak, this one instead is versatile, experimental, Slipknot has managed to evolve and not get stuck, it's a great and complete album.… Expand

The bridge of Yen is probably the best one of the band, and Medicine for the Dead is a composition masterpiece.     I've been a Slipknot fan for a long time, and I've listened to all of their albums. All albums had a song or two that wasn't really thatI've been a Slipknot fan for a long time, and I've listened to all of their albums. All albums had a song or two that wasn't really that great, but overall, they were pretty good. The End, So Far is, by far, my least favorite album. I wouldn't say it was horrible, but it was definitely underwhelming. I was excited from the moment I heard a new album was on the way, so when it finally released, I listened to it. My first thoughts were 'wait... is this Slipknot?' The album in my opinion seemed to be lacking a lot of the element that made Slipknot Slipknot. Where are the riffs? The screaming vocals? It wasn't until I got to Warranty that I recognized Slipknot's sound. But besides Warranty, it feels like the best songs were the ones released as singles (The Dying Song, Yen).
