It's a **** album! beyoncé as always reinventing itself and giving us another quality material, the songs combine very well with the interludes and we can highlight Black Skin Girls, Power and Water, as the best of this album.

Beyoncé really did something with this. and the music videos to "Spirit" and "Bigger" are absolutely beautiful, so african... the dance moves, the looks, the locations.. she's making a statement about her culture as she writes herself into it. she NEVER fails to deliver and reinvent herself. For an album inspired by its movie, The Lion King: The Gift seems trying to stray away from its essence. While it's good to keep everyone aware of black people issues, this album should has been describing the movie itself. The existence of so many interludes (13, which almost comprises half of the whole) aren't necessary to be there, as all the songs aren't really corresponding to them. For an album inspired by its movie, The Lion King: The Gift seems trying to stray away from its essence. This album is not just an album but it is a movement of culture that bridge society to unite, understand each other and being proud of ourself. Other than that, this album also includes the best sounds from Africa and it is the best African sound to be introduce to the world. This album is not just a gift to Africa but it is another way for it to be a pride of Africa and All the African people.

Ultimately, The Gift is a deft balancing act that weighs personal songwriting flourishes and meaning with Disneycore tropes, as well as a sincere desire to celebrate the music of the African diaspora with its fundamentally commercial obligations.

On The Lion King: The Gift, Beyoncé deftly connects a kid's flick to something bigger, honoring not only Africa and its traditions but also shifting perspective to future destiny and greatness. It's a superior statement and a lesson on how to properly execute a winning soundtrack.
