    A beacon of urgently needed positivity bursting into a world of overly represented negativity. The Love Invention is a pulsing shimmering multi-coloured ride and quite likely my summer 2023 soundtrack.

    Alison Goldfrapp returns to us with a solid offering of nostalgic and current electronica.

    If you are a fan of Goldfrapp's heydey albums "Black Cherry" and "Supernature" then "The Love Invention" is definitely the one invention for you. Melodies, riffs and lyric-lines that will take you back to these albums, yet mixed in with crisp clean 2020s electronica that keeps the album fresh and    Alison Goldfrapp returns to us with a solid offering of nostalgic and current electronica.

    If you are a fan of Goldfrapp's heydey albums "Black Cherry" and "Supernature" then "The Love Invention" is definitely the one invention for you. Melodies, riffs and lyric-lines that will take you back to these albums, yet mixed in with crisp clean 2020s electronica that keeps the album fresh and au courant. Not a bad apple to be found in the bunch. Her message she imparts throughout this album is one of positivity and self-affirmation.

    This is a nice try to complement Pop music with a very needed dance feel. Time may be a little contra productive on this project because the main idea on the songs are cliché enough for there to be a real need to explore them, but, at her best, Alison Goldfrapp achieves some catchy melodies and tunes that will be nice surprises in a pop/dance playlist.

    The Love Invention is the best album of 2023! What an electronica/dance masterpiece. The singles, So Hard So Hot, NeverStop and Love Invention are the most upbeat moments of the album, along with the brilliant Fever (this is the real thing). The other two remix singles of Digging Deeper and Fever are also here and great, although both are quite different to their original version.
    Other    The Love Invention is the best album of 2023! What an electronica/dance masterpiece. The singles, So Hard So Hot, NeverStop and Love Invention are the most upbeat moments of the album, along with the brilliant Fever (this is the real thing). The other two remix singles of Digging Deeper and Fever are also here and great, although both are quite different to their original version.
    Other tracks are more mid tempo but none of the less brilliant. In Electric Blue is deserving of a single release. The Beat Divine and Hotel (Suite 23) are also great songs. The album’s low points are Subterfuge and SloFlo which are probably the most Goldfrapp tracks you’ll find here.

    Alison has served a fantastic debut album, nods to varying eras of dance and club music with that Goldfrapp sparkle that sounds both fresh and innovative enough to set her apart. Vocally she sounds on great form here too with her signature soprano blending in beautifully with hooks aplenty. Highly recommend.

    Well surprised with this album ! When the singles went out, I wasn't that much into it, but the album works pretty well, the lyrics are a bit too easy though, but her voice and the instrumentals are really something, congrats !

    The love invention is a pure dancy album, this is another face of alison goldfrapp music, love it. Hotel (suite 23) and gatto gelato my favourites above all.
    The album version of the first singles are amazing.
