    This album is amazing! It is very catchy rock music. It doesn't deserve bad reviews at all. It's got some of the best songs I've ever heard. The instruments are played well and Tyler is an outstanding vocalist!

    A Nickelback style rock album. To me it's got a little bit of a country twang to it. Some tracks on here like "Easy to Love You" and "What was I Thinking" are the generic rock songs it seems every rock band has on their albums at some point or another, but it's got it's own unique thing going to keep the majority of the album going.

    With a lot of the material here being based of the lead singer's divorce, there's a very misogynistic tone throughout. While yes that definitely is offensive and mean, it's actually responsible for giving the album it's edge and more memorable songs. These are the tracks where the album rocks out the most. Which is both a good and bad thing.

    The truth is... that this is a pretty good album. It's Nickelback-esque style and obvious anger at women means it's not for everyone, but those looking for a good rock album to listen to will find it here. It can be enjoyable even with it's flaws. It might not put Theory of a Deadman at the top of the rock pile, but it's still worth a listen for fans of this type of music. My total score for it is a 7.5/10.    … Expand

    Very catchy songs; lots of fun to listen, dance, and sing along to! The lyrics on many of the songs are rather misogynistic, but I don't really care because the songs are really fun to listen to anyway.

    Upon first glance this album is full of offensive lyrics, and hateful writing. However if you actually take the time to listen to the album, some songs are highly satirical and should not be taken at face value. There is deep bitterness in many of these songs, as the writer obviously has been hurt by a woman somewhere along the line, this is apparent in "Gentleman" and "The Truth Is...Upon first glance this album is full of offensive lyrics, and hateful writing. However if you actually take the time to listen to the album, some songs are highly satirical and should not be taken at face value. There is deep bitterness in many of these songs, as the writer obviously has been hurt by a woman somewhere along the line, this is apparent in "Gentleman" and "The Truth Is... (I lied about everything)".

    If you can get by the borderline misogyny and outright bitterness, there are some hidden gems on this album. "Easy to Love You" and "What was I Thinking" are both really well written songs that have feeling, this displays that TOAD aren't just mindless jerks who hate women.

    "We Were Men", "Out of My Head" and "Hurricane" and all excellent rock songs, comparing to many of their earlier easily recognizable songs. All in all if you are easily offended, this album isn't for you, but it is a fun listen, with some very good songs.    … Expand
