Most of these songs just bore me, and I'm not a fan of Sia's songwriting personality on this album. I don't understand how people are liking this album. It's not completely horrible, but come on, there's nothing inspiring about these songs. Favorite track: Cloud

We are Born is indeed a extraordinary work of music that not only packs anthemic self-love tracks, but fits in some generic pop fillers that feel slightly misplaced.

Sia's latest full-length We Are Born, is, in a word, confusing. [Summer 2010, p.85]
  2. Known for her past collaborations with English electronica band Zero 7 and more recently with Christina Aguilera, Australian artist Sia Furler shines bright on her own on her newest release.
  3. There's definitely a place for We Are Born in our post-Gaga pop landscape. The album's accessible tunes might not stand up to in-depth analysis, but they stand a good chance of lighting up cheesy club nights everywhere.
