Easily one of the best albums made from one of the youngest artists in the world (not in a creepy way). She slayed us all and I had no idea it was possible for anyone to slay every single song on an album. She obviously has talent and just like the rest of her fans, I was so excited for another album. This album is a true masterpiece. Billie takes the down-tempo somber tones of the anti-pop sound and makes it her own in a really solid debut album. The concept was clear and very cleverly put together. Billie's vocals are a real wonder to listen to and really work well with the production on each track. You'll see a sort of humorous side to her in the smash hit "Bad Guy", feel compassion in "Xanny", feel dominance in "You Should See Me In a Crown", the emotions in "When the Party's Over", and might even make you cry in "I Love You".
This album as a whole is not just an album, it's an experience; and I highly recommend you listen to it. Billie takes you on this journey that will leave you captivated from start to finish and it's a real triumphant body of work.
One of the best listening experiences ever, my top album of 2019, and a very strong contender for Album of the Year.

Billie Eilish's debut album is one of the best types of debut projects I have ever seen. This sound is something I have never heard from any artist and it was a refreshing breath of air from the music that has been releasing recently, but that isn't to say that there aren't missteps. Some production choices are a mistake, but as a whole I believe the album is strong especially for a debut.Billie Eilish's debut album is one of the best types of debut projects I have ever seen. Definitely one of the best if not the best pop album of the year the instrumentals from finneas are very variable, catchy and always perfectly fitting to the track its on it has hard hitting bangers as well as beautiful ballads billies voice is on point and she shows off her talent on nearly every track her songwriting although sometimes a little bit -deep- is also pretty good

At first I thought who is this and why is she so hyped all of the sudden. Then I heard bad guy and listened to it a milllion times. Which led me to search for more songs. Every song is good. It’s unbelievable. This is a real artist. This is art.

Billie me lembra Lady Gaga no início e isso é bom. Esse álbum é maravilhoso e veio na hora certa. Tudo relacionado a ele é maravilhoso, o que me deixa ansioso pelos próximos passos dela.

Amazing through and through! Everything is literally perfect: the production, the vocals, the delivery, the songwriting, absolutely everything. The most cohesive album i've heard in a while, not to mention that it's her debut.

Fresh sounds from a fresh artist, yet dark sounds which lead you to the obscure and maybe twisted world of Billie, all of this in contrast with Billie's sweet voice.

Beautiful and coherent, Billie gaves a incredible album with innovations on a world where the repetitive is present. Her style and vocals give a immersive and kinda excited contact with the album, where sometimes we wanna dance, sometimes we wanna cry, and so it goes. The fact of this album have winned a Grammy's reinforces your power in the music.

This album is consistently good from start to finish. Is it perfect? Not by any means. Despite this, Eilish manages to capture the tone she was going for perfectly in her debut album (although she had previously released an EP.)

It's not the album that I want to listen on repeat. But I can relate to a lot of songs in this album, such as "bad guy", "you should see me in a crown", "ilomilo", "my strange addiction". This album is very dark, sad and unique, just like Billie's style. I love the melody and the beat because it's just... amazing and very different from other artists. And so is her voice. Simplemente asombroso.

This is severely underrated. Billie and Fineas craft such a great LP with meticulous production, writing, and vocals which unfortunately gets passed up by many.

When We All Fall Asleep Where Do We Go? is a startlingly good introduction to Billie Eilish, an album full of attitude but with the talent to back it up. Where she goes from here will be fascinating to see.

The 17-year-old sensation takes pop iconography and musical status quo and lacerates it, opting out of femme fatale for tomboy cargos and goth macabre, and sleek soundscapes for creepy eccentrics.

This surprising, haunting album will speak powerfully both to her peers and to anyone who remembers how youth can sometimes feel like an overwhelming weight. [Jun 2019, p.110]
