Álbum revolucionário, WHEN WE ALL FALL ASLEEP WHERE DO WE GO e o Pure Heroine da Lorde são juntos os melhores álbuns debut desse século.

The album perfectly describes a vulnerable as well as cool soul inside a Los Angeles girl.

É um album pop bem interessante, diferente e experimental (talvez?), com sonoridade bastante diversa e coesa ao mesmo tempo.

Pontos Positivos: "When the Party's Over", "Listen Before I Go", "I Love You"

Pontos Negativos: não entendo o hype de "Bad Guy"

When we all fall asleep where do we go. I had to come back here years later to give the album its tens. Four years after and I never get tired of this. This album is a masterpiece that captures every mood. Not generic and still gets you grooving. I love it!

When we all are so used to a generic pop album, Billie releases this album. Such a unique one, so honest, so true, and so good. Billie is so young and so talent. Not only the best album of 2019, but one of all times, and maybe my personal favorite, I cant even pick a favorite song because they all are incredible. She really made a difference in the industry with this one.

It's definitely better than 'dont smile at me', but 2/3 tracks or maybe more are lacking something.

The slow ballads on this thing are beautiful and I'd argue nearly perfect, and the catchy pop tunes are mostly great as well. I have some issues with a few individual tracks and some issues with the writing but overall a great debut for a literal kid.

Imagine creating this masterpiece at SIXTEEN. From the moment this album came out, it was clear who will run the game in the next decade. BILLIE EILISH IS THE STANDARD.

Every musical decision judged as well as her popularity being weaponized to detract from her art . All of this did little to stop her from succeeding further but beyond the commercial plain. She captured the praise of the critics community declaring her talent unanimously. This album maintains it's theme so perfectly using narratives weaved by her and her brother to explore dark emotions and realities with an earnestness that makes the record more personal. The singles sound better (yes, thats possible)and the cohesiveness is amazing especially considering the DIY nature of their work. Finneas's production is so adept and idiosyncratic for such a young producer. Using mundane objects and inspirations to mine sounds from . That spontaneity isn't lost as the music feels 'alive'. The beautiful experimental closer which literally summarizes the entire album is so smart and dark and offers closure to the albums relative apathy. I enjoyed pure heroine part 2 alot. Easily one of the best albums made from one of the youngest artists in the world (not in a creepy way). The highs are thrilling, and despite their obvious pedigree, arranged unlike anything else in contemporary pop. They also reveal the lows more starkly: the saccharine, coyly suggestive 8, played on a ukulele, and I Love You, which sounds suspiciously like Hallelujah, are better off left to YouTube ingenues than an artist of Eilish’s otherwise clear vision.

The songwriting is good, her brother, Finneas, helped the writing, and it showcases the ability of the siblings of creating a complete different song every time about different topics.
The production is curated by Finneas, is quietly perfect, there's no over-produced song, even if it sounds at a first hearing, the treatment of every production is flawless and shows how much a single person can do in a bedroom.
In general is a great album, I listen to this on repeat every day and never get bored, every time I listen to this album, I discover new layers, new production and vocals hidden on the background that I never heard; impressive.
Definitely a zero skip album, great job Billie and Finneas

When We All Fall Asleep Where Do We Go? is a startlingly good introduction to Billie Eilish, an album full of attitude but with the talent to back it up. Where she goes from here will be fascinating to see.

The 17-year-old sensation takes pop iconography and musical status quo and lacerates it, opting out of femme fatale for tomboy cargos and goth macabre, and sleek soundscapes for creepy eccentrics.

This surprising, haunting album will speak powerfully both to her peers and to anyone who remembers how youth can sometimes feel like an overwhelming weight. [Jun 2019, p.110]
