    There are a few decent tracks on here, but the annoying synth blasts and Daft Punk-esque repetition does nothing but piss me off. The electronic music scene is becoming tainted with artists who think they can just blast an electronic-guitar synth somewhere in a track and get acclaim. Music fans not familiar with recent electronic releases won't be as furious with this record as more There are a few decent tracks on here, but the annoying synth blasts and Daft Punk-esque repetition does nothing but piss me off. Music fans not familiar with recent electronic releases won't be as furious with this record as more experienced ones, that's to be expected. Oh, and that excerpt from the ever-so-horrible excuse for a magazine (aka Alternative Press) is one of the most ignorant things I've read this year. The Rapture sound nothing like this bit and their 2nd release (while not as amazing as Echoes) was acers better than this lot. Expand

    It’s obvious, obnoxious and effective.
  2. A shame, really, since there are couple of songs here displaying a melodic facility far in excess of the record’s dumbed-down intent.
  3. They asked, so we'll tell. Does it offend me? No. Does it bore me? Yes.
