    I love the whole album. the lyrics, the rhythms, etc. Faith is my favorite, especially the outro is great. This album deserves a lot of success.

    The Weeknd is at his best on After Hours. Nearly a decade since the release of House of Balloons, and The Weeknd is hitting his peak. Incredible song writing and production. A brand new sound that somehow feels classic. True emotion is felt through these songs and makes allusions and references to his own career. Excellent album.

    without a doubt it is a Grammy winning album, it is the best album to date Abel in production and vocally, it is an album with many influences from the 80's, it is a nostalgic album.

    Beautiful don't know what else to say about it other than that. "Too late" and "faith" and "hardest to love" have to be my favourites out of the songs not already released before the actual album released. Technically I could list all of them because they are all great.

    As a big Weeknd fan I was not impressed. The singles are so much better than the album. They out weight it. The rest of the album all sounds the same. He sounds like he is forcing emotions that aren’t really there.

    I didn't felt any songs, the OFFICAL videos were creepy as I don't know, all the songs were almost same, no versatility so yeah this is not the album I expected from the weekend

    There are 4 songs that I like from this album:Heartless, After Hours, Blinding Lights and Scared to live. these songs are bops and some of me favourite R&B Tracks of the year but the Album is so disappointing. All the other tracks sound so similar that at some points of the Album I cant tell the songs apart, even after multiple listens I don't get anything out of this album that I did notThere are 4 songs that I like from this album:Heartless, After Hours, Blinding Lights and Scared to live. these songs are bops and some of me favourite R&B Tracks of the year but the Album is so disappointing.     All I have for The Weeknd and his music is respect - and that's why this project disappoints me. After Hours is not a bad album, the production is extraordinary for one. My issue with this album is that most of the tracks have the same, dark vibe to it; there's not much replay value. While the opening track is sublime in its sound and atmosphere, After Hours immediately takes a nosedive into a long string of songs that just seem to drag on forever. This is mainly due to the overproduction of The Weeknd´s voice and extreme lack of variation on the instrumental end, leaving much to be desired in terms of anything interesting or exciting. The biggest offender on this album has to be the lyrics though. Besides a few good lines (never need a **** im what a **** needs), this album almost put me to sleep, literally, because of how little investment I had in anything that was being said. It sounds as though The Weeknd asked a group of 13 year olds to write this album for him. Overall the lyrics have no substance or feeling behind them. Many people pride this album on being featureless, but in my opinion an interesting or well timed guest verse could have given a lot of the songs more re-listenability. One good thing about this album would have to be the singles released ahead of it; they are fire. But unfortunately, the rest of After Hours does nothing for me. As a fan of The Weeknd, this is disappointing. I just don´t feel anything while listening to it except ¨when is this song going to end¨. Besides a small amount of tracks, I can´t say I will be listening to this one again.… Expand

    After an amazing single in Blinding Lights I had to give this album a chance. It's no different than any other R&B album out there. Was extremely disappointed. The beats start to sound the same throughout the entire album. Was hoping for more 80's vibes.

    Really disappointing. After the wonders The Weeknd has made and with these 2 amazing singles, this should be his best album. It's not, most of the songs feel like outtakes from Starboy & BBTM. At least the singles are amazing.

Nunca entenderé por qué muchos de los principales artistas actuales se centran en los singles y abandonan los álbumes de esta forma, que es lo que definirá su carrera cuando pase el tiempo.

    The album aesthetic is great but he quite couldn't pull it off because half of the album sounds the same (19 songs deluxe version) 10 songs at least are crap.

    i can see why his team made blinding lights the leading single is the best song on this album.
    Hidden Gem apart from Blinding lights is Save your tears.

    Un hermoso álbum lleno de canciones pegadizas y excelentemente producidas. Las letras en este álbum dan en el clavo y le da un sentido especial a cada canción. Un reconocimiento especial a Hardest To Love la cuál es una canción que te lleva a los zapatos de Abel y sus problemas amorosos. Una obra maestra.

    One of the most overrated artists today who sees himself as Michael Jackson, lol. The Weeknd ran to Max Martin, wanting to make hits desperately, thinking he might sweep Grammys. Guess what happened? He didn't even get a nomination, then cried like a baby everywhere. Accept it: your album sucks and no one knows your non-single album tracks. King of payola failed hard this time. Awful.

Always associated him as day time radio fodder for kids but after seeing some great reviews for this I said I'd give it a go not quite sure what to expect. "After Hours" is an hour of smooth and really cool pop. I don't listen to much radio but I'd imagine the sound of this is going to be replicated by every second R&B pop starThis was my first time checking out an album by The Weekend. It's impossible to tell if there is anything behind the lyrical content with the effects and autotune etc but in terms of sound, its good. The album won't necessarily be converting me into a fanatic but I am glad I checked it out. Quite enjoyable.… Expand

    He has written some very catchy tunes in his time and he has a beautiful voice but the albums themes seem to be very repetitive, girls, money and a little bit of heart break, not much variety. Electronic sound is sometimes quite flat, not much punch, using the electronic effects to compensate for the lack of depth in the subject matter. Singles are as strong as his previous albums

    Great opening track in "Alone Again" (one of my favorite Weeknd track's period) but unfortunately the rest of the project doesn't quite live up to the intro. Very cohesive and reflective album, but it needed more variation and darker tones & instrumentals to make a lasting impression. I love contemporary 80s synth pop, but it's the safer choice and there are too many of them on here. 7.5/10

    O After hours é o melhor trabalho do Abel depois de alguns tempos. A mistura de sons oitentistas em contraste com trap que envolvem o álbum deixam a obra bem interessante. Com uma ideia de álbum cinematográfico Abel tesfaye conseguiu trazer um álbum genial com letras obscuras e sensuais como de costume

    One of the best albums of the Canadian singer and compositor, the album gives an old vibe of his first mixtapes and the sound of 80's. His voice is incredible and the sounds that he put to his voice make the album better. It's an album to dance and cry, and also feel like nobody deserves you.

    On his most experimental record yet, The Weeknd doesn't completely get out of his comfort zone. There's still a taste of the early The Weeknd, still, this is a reinvention of some sort. Some of the songs might sound similar if not the same, but it's an enjoyable ride overall. "In Your Eyes" and the title song "After Hours" are definitely the standout tracks, as well as "Scared to Live".

    It's a good album with the good concept, it has the combination of the 1980s and the modern R&B, while "In Your Eyes" and "Save Your Tears" has a synth wave and disco vibe of the 1980s, "Escape from LA" and "Snow Child" have the modern trap vibe and some tracks like "Too Late" or "After Hour" has an amazing production by its complex layers, Worth to give it a chance

    The album has a charming effect because of the unice, unusual and beautiful sound. The mysterious style of the album goes through every song and this is the reason why it feels great while listening to that. But there is a feeling like something is missing and it's really difficult to explain what exactly. Maybe catchy tunes, maybe unforgettable lyrics. Fans of The Weeknd definitely will like it!

    Whilst i can respect the weeknd's affinity for reinvention ajd fascination with retro sounds i cannot say i enjoyed this record. It felt mediocre, bland and derivative. Nothing about after hours feels relevant,instead its a vapid depressive episode.

    Amo o modo como Abel entra no seu personagem, mesmo muitas vezes suas letras representando sua vida em determinados aspectos. O instrumental sempre nos conquista com seu ritmo e sua voz é simplesmente magica. Super recomendado.

    د ویکند بعد مدت ها سکوت, تونست یک آلبوم با کانسپ عالی بده بیرون برعکس استاربوی مثل پلی لیست اسپاتیفای شده بود.تنها ضعف آلبوم میکس بعضی از آهنگ ها بود.ولی آلبوم سینت پاپ فوق العاده که ایراد جزیی داشت.

This style of R&B doesn't make it easy for us and contributes to lose ourselves in a grotesque fresco, sometimes flat and dull, sometimes dancing or quiet but very rarely surprising, even if the few electro-like flights of fancy are admirable (as in the track 'After Hours'). The modified voice of the artist becomes in the space of a few tracks unbearable, repetitive and haunting.

    All the promotion of this album that the fans have been waiting for no less than 4 years is outrageous. It became more otrageous when you realize it worked in a surprising way. The Weeknd doesn't have any remorse to capitalize on its recordings and doesn't hesitate to release several different deluxe versions and to make a series of remixes and covers more or less remarkable. The instrumental versions add to the indecency of the approach. I am not fooled by the deception of the project. Soon (and currently, by the way) the official music videos created from colossal sums of money will invade the platforms and add to the so-called supremacy of the artist.    … Expand

    This album is a honest 8.6 great work by Abel
    He's done very well on this lp and I know everyone that has listened to this can say the same thing it has many high moments on this top also has a little lows maybe but most of time everything runs smoothly it sounds good and most of all it gets you all bundled up with pure emotions that you cannot help from giving it many more listens .

    One of my best albums during the pandemic. I am not a fan of the weeknd but I really like some of his works. The biggest song on the album is still held by Blinding Lights. That's phenomenal!

    You can enjoy album for frist time and after frist you will tiered of something like "I miss you" and sad things are repeat again and again on trap beat expect "in your eyes" and "blinding lights" and abel sound in some Songs is so ridiculous

    It is a good album tho but a bit repetitive ! Sometimes it gets a bit boring when the songs are too long and i feel like I've already heard the melodies that are in the songs in the previous ones ! But, there are still amazing songs like binding lights , in your eyes or savent your tears !

    Heartless Faith Blinding Lights In You Eyes After Hours I feel like his fast paced, eighties inspired songs about himself rather than his desperate songs about his tiring relationship with Bella. Overall, I feel like this album had no direction

    I'm an Abels fan, but his last album is just boring. Don't get me wrong, it's not bad, but some songs just feel like interludes before his singles. It's not his worst album at all, but he could have done better.

    Love the aesthetic, the cohesiveness, the sound and the lyrics. He is such an amazing artist. But I missed vocals. He is such a good singer. Sometimes, the songs are extremely similar to each other. Still, such a really good project.

    Heartless is very The Weeknd doing what we know him for since Beauty Behind the Madness, and I'm not saying it's bad, because it's far the opposite, but then it kind of repeats itself in the others of the album (aside the top three mentioned before).
    If this was the debut album of some new kid it would be amazing, but for The Weeknd we expect more.    … Expand

    coherent album. the songs follow the same idea and a beautiful melody. new and good beats that make harmony with his deep voice, good writing and good video clips. good choice of lead singles. my favorite is save your tears!

    This is such an amazing album, the talent is unreal. Definitely on my top 5 albums this year.

    I want to give it a 7.5/10 but that's not possible, so I'll stick with an 8.

    I love this album, the best The Weeknd project in my opinion. everything about this is great, from the production to the vocals to the lyrics. This album shows how good Abel is at creating an atmosphere. It’s a beautiful project and probably album of the year.

    Weeknd's voice is amazing. It's a very mid tier album for a casual and/or new fan.

    I think this album is near perfect, it sounds so raw and all the songs are catchy in their own way, it could either be his best or second best after trilogy. But this to me is the best R&B album of the year.

    The album is a new sound for Abel but is very reminiscing to late 80s to 90s pop vibe with its synth pop style. Though some melodies sound same and some beats aren't upto level as compared to others, its still a very cohesive album and imo Abel's best since Kissland. Starboy fans won't probably like this album tho.

Tracks like "Blinding Lights" and "In Your Eyes" definitely show the radio appeal that the album has in some parts but that isn't the main goal of the project. Lyrically rich and sonically well-crafted songs like "Too Late", "Faith" and "After Hours" guaranteeThe album is absolutely amazing.     Amazing album.. I miss Trilogy a bit but this album is for sure a pretty dark one with many weird synthetic sounds and vibes from 80s making it really unique and worth being a new chapter.
