    At its best, Antisocialites is a raw effort from a band who swears they've been around longer than they have, composing a handful of very good songs, with a majority of flukey, bored-out-of-my-fucking-mind songs that seem to drag one after the other. Alvvays' main flaw remains their lack of authenticity, a tragedy for a band with this much potential.

    Alvvays were the perfect band to listen to when a need arose to forget about life. Despite its title, Antisocialites doesn’t manage to accomplish the same thing.

Gentle sounds, consistent and concise song structure, and most importantly,Antisocialites uses a near perfect formula for a great pop album. Gentle sounds, consistent and concise song structure, and most importantly, catchy melodies keep the album lively and colorful throughout without overfilling or oversaturating its sound. In terms of pop music, Alvvays has hit the nail on the head. My only real complaint is the lack of diversity in both sounds and really interesting song topics.… Full Review »

    Literally one of my favourite albums of all time. There is not a single bad song.
