While As I Try Not to Fall Apart probably won't pull in any new fans, it has a sultry, back-of-the-club intensity that speaks to White Lies' ever-deepening artistry.

‘As I Try Not to Fall Apart’ is a subtle evolution for White Lies - progress, after a while spent spinning their wheels.

"As I Try Not To Fall Apart" is another solid if not necessarily great addition to the bands back catalog. A typical 7/10. Hard to fault much other than it sticks to the bands template and formula. There is no spine tingling moments but at the same time none of this sounds forced. White Lies fans know what to expect at this stage and if you like what they offer then you will be happy with this. It produces a couple of tracks that will likely supplement their long term live set. Full Review »

Each previous album felt like a bunch of melancholy and brooding songs but never felt like a collective. This album hits different. Yes its what we've have come to know from White Lies but its the almost complete work that does it for me.

Catchy, hooky, anthemic and moody af. A great piece of mature work.
