Word's can't describe the feeling this album evokes in me. A true masterpiece and nothing less.

I suggest that music journalists (namely the one from the Independent) undergo some retraining. In this particular person's case may I suggest they study ornithology... there is no such thing as a seagull and this is a great album!

Thumping baselines, swirling synths and Sam’s vocals- what’s not to like? Absolutely brilliant.

Great album from start to finish. Sounds almost to beautiful to be from 2020! Wonderful work in a terrible year.

This is what we needed in 2020. I created an account here just to say that. For me this will be an iconic album, one that I mark life's time by. Nothing else approaches where this goes. Thank you Future Islands.

Throughout these 11 songs, there’s a conflict between whether the characters are ready to move on or are fighting to go back to how it was.

While As Long As You Are moves with more purpose than its predecessor, it’s hard to escape the feeling that something is lacking here.

The record feels like standing water, Herring is so entrenched in the past it’s hard to tell who he really is on so much of this record. There are, however, moments when the light shines in with the vibrancy of stained glass.
