Aug 16, 2019“one sick plan,” an acoustic performance presented through an intentionally lo-fi style that crackles like a demo and feels like a stick-figure drawing dropped into a pile of Picassos. It’s a good song, but an odd production choice. These are minor quibbles, of course, within the context of an otherwise brilliant work. basking in the glow is not only the fulfillment of the promise Lilitri showed on the yunahon mixtape, it’s one of the best pop-rock records of 2019.

Aug 16, 2019Lilitri’s dedication to concision and coherence doesn’t come at the expense of subtle, sharp songwriting.

Aug 16, 2019Basking in the Glow is an album for fans of the courteous yet invigorating style of emo that Death Cab for Cutie and Jimmy Eat World made popular. Oso Oso's latest is a brisk invitation to savour the small stuff, to embrace insecurities, and to hang on to those head-rushing moments.

Aug 16, 2019It's simple yet non-formulaic and finds the band providing another batch of delectable mid-tempo jams.

Aug 19, 2019While it is not as strong of an album to me as the Yunahon Mixtape was, this is an incredibly wonderful album best embodying the recent emo revival.
