The sound is now clearer than on either predecessor; the rapping likewise. And here come Jane's Addiction and the Smashing Pumpkins--this is a slicker, grander record than Significant Other. [Jan 2001, p.112]
  2. It was only natural to suspect that Limp Bizkit would fall on their faces this time by getting serious. But Chocolate Starfish and the Hot Dog Flavored Water is looser and livelier and just plain better than anything they've ever tried before.

Childhood album right here. I remember listening to this bad boy back in 2000 and man, that was a long time ago! The album still kicks assChildhood album right here. I remember listening to this bad boy back in 2000 and man, that was a long time ago! The album still kicks ass after all these years and it's nostalgic in a way. It's not as good as 3DB or TUT, but still great. The highlights of this album are certainly: Boiler, My Generation, Livin' It Up, Hot Dog, Take a Look Around and My Way. Also Ben Stiller in the outro still makes me laugh. Great record, Pickens approves! Full Review »
