This is an amazing album of memories. Many wonderful tracks in two extremely expressive and passionate voices. I really loved this cover album.

Favorites tracks: "Teach Me Tonight", "I'll Never Be Free" & "Stars Fell On Alabama".

Probably my favorite album by She & Him; amazing covers to timeless classics, Zooey's beautiful pop voice, M Ward's stellar 60's guitar playing, and overall a feel-good album to listen to everyday

Songs of interest: I'll Never Be Free, Teach Me Tonight, Time After Time, and Stay Awhile

Probably one of my favorite albums ever. I want this to play on the day of my marriage.

The album is a holiday classic in waiting, even if you don’t own a single pair of skinny jeans and couldn’t grow a beard to save your life.

The problem with Classics, then, is that they call attention to the bleeding sincerity of that bygone era without being able to quite do it justice.

‘Stay Awhile’ and renditions of The Righteous Brothers’ ‘Unchained Melody’ and the Burt Bacharach and Hal David-penned ‘This Girl’s In Love With You’ are stunning in isolation. A whole album of Deschanel’s wholesome, entertaining-the-troops voice and M Ward’s tasteful instrumentation is cloying.
