The choruses are delivered in joyously emphatic unison. If there is a complaint about Cold as Weiss, it's that at 40 minutes, it's a tad short, because no one wants this dance party to end. (If you do, please check your pulse, you may have expired.)

It’s another home run for Lamarr’s trio who hasn’t made a misstep yet. Get on board and bring a friend as these guys generate the fiery funk/soul/jazz heat.

As good as last year’s I Told You So was, this is an even stronger response to their already highly raised bar.

"Don't Worry 'Bout What I Do" get quite heavy-metally, while James takes tracks like the wah-wah-infused "This Is Who I Is" in a distinctly Hendrix-inspired direction. [Apr 2022, p.29]

The DLO3 serve up a decidedly old school-sounding platter whose feel-good vibe is infectious. [Mar 2022, p.86]

DLO3 is just RAD. I love their ability to bring the listener on an instrumental journey through sounds of blues, soul, and rock n roll, andDLO3 is just RAD. I love their ability to bring the listener on an instrumental journey through sounds of blues, soul, and rock n roll, and have it never grow old.

I've been throwing this album on in the background at work or while doing dishes and I find that it fits that setting perfectly. Its almost as though, not until you let the album fade in to the background, does it fully reveal its fun grooves and sticky melodies...
